Gabbi Garcia shared behind-the-scenes moments from the set of the film Prisoner of War, where she portrays a nurse.
In the photos she posted on Instagram, Gabbi can be seen filming on location alongside British action star Scott Adkins.
"Hello, Nurse Theresa 🏥 Sharing some behind the scenes moments from our film Prisoner of War 🎬🎥 It has been such an honor and a true thrill to work on this project alongside @thescottadkins! ✨" the actress wrote.
Fans online were quick to react to Gabbi's post.
"I've always wanted to be an actress too 😭 This is exactly the kind of role I'd love to play someday. So happy for you, @gabbi I loooooooove it!!!" one fan commented.
As per its IMDb, Prisoner of War follows the story of a "British RAF Wing Commander during World War II is captured and forced to fight in a Japanese internment camp."
The movie premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in April and had a limited theatrical release in August. It was released on VOD in the United States in September.
Gabbi currently serves as a host of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
She recently starred in the series How to Cheat Death.
In an episode of Bida/Bida by Netflix Philippine in May, Gabbi opened up about the kind of role she hopes to take on in the future, one that she has yet to portray.
"Ako dream role ko, hindi pa ako nakakapag-GL... Girls' Love. I haven’t done that."
She also emphasized the importance of constantly evolving as an actress, especially when working across different genres and roles.
"As an actor, it’s constantly reinventing yourself in all the roles that you're going to portray, kasi siyempre hindi pwedeng pare-parehas," she said. “Actually that’s challenging, for example you get so much projects na ito 'yung genre, so you have to constantly reinvent yourself."
