MANILA -- Dennis Trillo considers his recent Best Actor win at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for the film "Green Bones," as "probably the best moment" of his career and a dream come true.
"Hindi ko akalain na sa tagal ko nang artista ay ngayon ko lamang masasabi ito... this is probably the best moment of my career as an actor... Wow... just wow, literal na dream come true. Gusto ko lang i-share sa inyo, kung gaano kasarap sa pakiramdam... thank you GREEN BONES," Trillo wrote in a social media pist.

During the MMFF Gabi Ng Parangal" last December 27, Trillo dedicated his Best Actor trophy to his family, as he thanked all those who supported and trusted him, including his wife, actress Jennylyn Mercado.
Trillo also showed that he has "green bones" when he donated his MMFF prize to persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

"Green Bones" won major awards at the 50th MMFF including Best Picture, Best Actor for Trillo, Best Supporting Actor for Ruru Madrid, Best Screenplay for Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza, and Best Child Performer for Sienna Stevens.
