Jolina Magdangal teased fans on what they can expect from her reunion movie with Marvin Agustin.
In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez for the TFC show BRGY, Jolina expressed her excitement that the movie is finally pushing through.
"Sa akin inaayos pa ang script pero finally at nararamdaman ko na na matutuloy na rin ito dahil nakailang attempt na rin ito... This time matutuloy na," she said.
The actress said that she also got to bond with Marvin recently for Judy Ann's Kitchen which was helpful as they geared up for the movie.
"Sa totoo lang after nung aming reunion na nangyari sa Judy Ann's Kitchen, I can say na may mga bondings kami na nangyari doon na mas nagpatatag sa friendship din namin ni Marvin," she said.
The actress shared that the movie will be shooting abroad and relayed that it will be released in cinemas around February next year just in time the love month.
Jolina is confident that audiences will relate to the story of the film, which will tackle the different faces of love.
"Sabay-sabay tayong na in-love, sabay-sabay tayong na friendzone, I'm sure kahit saang part nung movie na gagawin namin na 'to, istorya nito, I'm sure meron kayong istorya diyan," she said.
It was on October 31 when production company Project 8 Projects confirmed that Jolina and Marvin would be reuniting for a film.
"HUYYY!!! ito na ang COMEBACK na hinihintay niyo!! 👀 After more than 2 decades, MARJO (Marvin-Jolina) is back on the big screen!" the film outfit announced.
The movie will be titled Ex Ex Lovers and will be directed by JP Habac.
The movie will be in co-production with Cornerstone Studios which also revealed the other cast members of the film including Juan Karlos Labajo and Loisa Andalio.
This movie marks the first film collaboration between Cornerstone Studios and Project 8 Projects, following their successful partnership on the productions of Replacing Chef Chico for Netflix and Drag Den seasons 1 and 2 for Prime.
Jolina and Marvin previously headlined the film Labs Kita, Okay Ka Lang? in 1998.
