After making their stage debut in 2004, G-Force has built its reputation to become one of the country’s most sought after dance groups. Their legacy has grown with the opening of multiple G-Force dance centers in Metro Manila.
During their dance recital G-Force Project 2025 held last June 11 at the MOA Arena in Pasay City, the group’s founder and artistic director Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy shared just how proud she is of all they have accomplished.
“It’s humbling and deeply fulfilling. What started as a small movement has become a national force—not just in dance, but in culture. I’ve realized that consistency in passion and purpose creates legacy. G-Force has become a platform for transformation—of lives, careers, and mindsets. I’m most proud of how we’ve elevated the status of dancers in the Philippines. We’ve turned background performers into front-row storytellers. We gave the dance community the dignity, platform, and recognition it deserves,” she shared.
The dance recital also included celebrity performers like Maja Salvador and Cassy Legaspi (mentees of Teacher Georcelle), international choreographers/dancers Ben Tovale and Laurence Kaiwai, and students from the G-Force Dance Center from their branches in Shangri-La Plaza, Quezon City, Alabang, and BGC-Blanco. There were over 30 dance production numbers spanning various genres, ranging from hip-hop, K-Pop, OPM, and sexy.

“Over 700 students took the stage tonight, each one bringing their own light. Every movement they made is a reflection of our shared energy and discipline. We had close to 2,000 attendees in the audience—parents, peers, supporters—each one part of this evolving movement. Their cheers were electric. After 20 years of giving, I felt it was time to pause and realign—with myself and with our mission. The retreat was a sacred space for reconnection: to our roots, to our bodies, and to the soul of dance. It became a turning point in how I wish to lead G-Force into its next chapter,” she explained of the inception of their dance centers.
Teacher Georcelle also shared why she believes parents have entrusted their children to learn dance with them. “Because we’re not just teaching steps—we’re shaping mindsets. Our advocacy is rooted in self-expression, discipline, and identity. Parents see how we nurture confidence; kids feel seen and safe in their authenticity,” she added.

As G-Force reaches a major milestone this year, Teacher Georcelle looks forward to growing the group and achieving new goals with her talented crew. “Dance gave me a voice when I didn’t have the words. It taught me leadership, resilience, and faith. It’s how I healed, how I connected, and how I continue to evolve. G-Force will continue to be a cultural movement—integrating more technology, wellness, and global collaborations. But at its core, we will always be about people—helping the next generation move not just with rhythm, but with purpose,” she explained.
Apart from holding regular classes at their dance centers throughout the year, G-Force has also been busy in preparations for some special initiatives like their much anticipated workshop series in Canada, a dance retreat in October, and another dance concert at The Theatre at Solaire on July 20.
