MANILA -- Iconic Filipino rock band Eraserheads is all set for their highly anticipated "Huling El Bimbo World Tour" in Australia and New Zealand.

The band's first stop in Australia will be in Melbourne on March 1, which will also be their first-ever performance in the city.

Bassist Buddy Zabala expressed his enthusiasm for this leg of the tour, reflecting on their last performance in the country.

"Sobrang excited! This is our second time [in Australia], but the first time was decades ago, so we can't wait to play our songs to all the Filipinos," he shared.

Lead guitarist Marcus Adoro mirrored Zabala's sentiments and teased fans with a promise of an unmatched surprise for this tour.

"Super excited kaming makabalik ng Australia kasi parang ano pa last century pa kami nandun eh," he joked. "Meron kaming pasabog na very unique para sa mga Australians and it will be historical and more, There's more."

Frontman Ely Buendia also hinted at the songs they prepared for the show.

"I heard Melbourne is really nice, so super excited and we are going to play almost all the hits and some surprises," he shared.

The frontman also reflected on their bond since they started touring and expressed his gladness for the deepening of friendships throughout the tour.

"It's still fresh. We're always finding new stuff to play and to be creative, so it's a really nice feeling to tour again with the boys," he said.

Zabala couldn't help but feel nostalgic about their experiences at their previous concerts.

"This is our second year touring, so it gets better. The last show we did, we did not expect to have so much fun [with] our kababayans. [They] had so much fun and consequently kami rin. So kita-kita tayo sa mga shows. Let's keep it fun," he shared.

They also gave messages to their fans anticipating their performances in Australia.

"Mga kababayan, we will see you soon," said Zabala.

"Mates, we will see you at the shows," Buendia added.

The band is eager to give their fans an unforgettable experience as they bring their iconic sound to Australia and New Zealand.

The Eraserheads completed their "Huling El Bimbo World Tour" in Dubai last December, which included stops in North America, Canada, and the Middle East.

Fans jammed to their classic and timeless pieces like "Pare Ko," "Magasin," and  of course, "Huling El Bimbo."

Here is the schedule of the "Huling El Bimbo World Tour" in Australia and New Zealand:
