Another milestone in Filipino entertainment was unveiled with the launch of Gateway Immersive Experience, the country’s first-ever Virtual Reality (VR) concert venue. Earlier this week, members of the press and influencers were invited to the launch wherein they watched K-Pop boy group ENHYPEN.
This VR concert experience is made possible through the partnership between Uniprom Inc. (the entertainment arm of Araneta City and operator of Gateway Cineplex 18) and Wilbros Live, along with AmazeVR as the content provider.

Fans of the K-Pop stars can experience a new kind of thriller as they get up close and personal through the technology used. The one-hour concert experience will allow them to meet their K-Pop idols in a whole new way.
ENHYPEN’s VR concert titled Immersion, will leave ENGENEs wanting for more as the visuals and performances made by the group in this concert is vividly brought to life right before their eyes–– closer than even at a 0cm distance.
The VR concert begins with a mysterious invitation from ENHYPEN to their fans. The members–– Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki–– show their charms through the performances they prepared for the concert.
Some of the songs they performed were “Go Big or Go Home,” “Sweet Venom,” and “XO,” among many others. Fans will also have the opportunity to hold a virtual lightstick all throughout the VR concert experience.
Meanwhile, COO of Uniprom Inc, Irene Jose, expressed how proud they are to be the first in the country to bring this kind of immersive concert experience.

“It’s my great pleasure to have you all here with us tonight to introduce the VR concert experience–– a first of its kind. An immersive concert designed to give the audience a concert experience like no other,” she shared.
“We are proud to bring this first to the country and exclusive here at the Gateway [Cineplex18]… Today marks an important milestone for all of us. With this launch, we are not just unveiling a concert–– we are reimagining music and technology,” she added.
ENHYPEN’s VR concert will be shown exclusively in Gateway Cineplex 18 from November 20 to December 6. Tickets are available via TicketNet outlets and their official website ticketnet.com.ph.
Meanwhile, K-Pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER will also be having their VR concert shown in the country this coming December 8 to December 24. Titled TOMORROW X TOGETHER VR CONCERT : HEART ATTACK, the show will be exclusively shown in Gateway Cineplex 18 as well.
