ABS-CBN and CHiNOY TV have partnered up once again for the upcoming Mr and Ms Chinatown Global Philippines 2026. The contract signing was held last July 1 in Quezon City and marked a new alliance between the two.
Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, Head of TV Production and Star Magic Laurenti Diyogi, CEO and President of CHiNOY TV Alvin Kingson Tan, Creative Director of MMCG PH Janeena Chan, and Executive Director of MMCG PH Mikko Araneta.

Speaking to the media present, Janeena expressed their excitement about this partnership and shared a glimpse of what’s in store for those joining the competition.
“We can’t really say too much yet, but definitely we will add another layer of excitement and another layer of execution instead of the usual formal pageants na may mga konting araw lang for pre-pageants and then coronation na,” she shared.
“Ngayon, hopefully we’ll get to see more of the experience, more of the POV ng ating mga contestants. Hopefully, mas maabangan natin as viewers online ang kanilang experience and journey to the crown and to their stardom,” she added.
Beyond the competition, the Creative Director hopes this will lead the contestants to showcase their advocacies to a wider audience.
“Marami silang matututunan. They will get to experience and learn so many new things here. I hope this is also going to be an opportunity for them to share their own advocacies,” she teased.

“So it will be exciting. We can’t really reveal too much yet pero abangan,” she continued.
Janeena added that they will be making the pageant regional as they are ready to welcome Filipino-Chinese from other parts of the country to join the competition. Individuals aged 18 to 35 are invited to take part in the competition.
“We’re making it regional so definitely the reach is wider and we are so excited to invite more rising stars,” she maintained.
