Celebrity couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez took their family to Boracay to celebrate the first birthday of their son, Leon. In a series of Instagram posts, the proud parents showed a glimpse of their vacation for their son’s special week.
Megan gave birth to Leon back on May 20, 2025. Prior to their Boracay trip, they held an intimate celebration in their home.

“Spent Leon’s birthday week in Boracay and we discovered that our baby LOVES to swim!! Every chance we got, we spent it in the pool,” Mikael shared.
The couple shared how much their son enjoyed the water as they spent most of their time in the pool. Apart from swimming, Leon showed interest in the play area and even had fun inside their hotel room on the days when it was raining.
“He didn’t mind the heat or humidity and just smiled his way through the trip. Even during the tail end, when cloudy skies came to visit, we enjoyed being in our room as we watched the NBA playoffs together,” Mikael added.
Megan and Mikael also showed the mini celebration they had on the island, as the hotel they were staying in gave them some party favors as well, which Leon enjoyed.
“After a bit of rest, we jumped back in the water. I was surprised how resilient Leon was, but we tried not to overdo it. I guess we can say that this was part of Leon’s extended birthday celebration,” he expressed.

Mikael maintained how much they’ve enjoyed their beach getaway–– celebrating the first birthday of their son.
“Our last day and half was met with cloudy skies and wet weather. Would’ve been fun to swim in the rain, but maybe when Leon is older. I love you, Leon and Bonez. Can’t wait for more adventures together,” he ended.
Megan and Mikael started dating in 2012 after meeting through mutual friends, and since then, the two have been together. They tied the knot back in 2020 with only their closest family and friends present.
