Shortly after F4's reunion as complete members during Mayday's #5525 Back To That Day Live Tour in 2025, reports of an official comeback began to surface, fueling excitement among longtime fans.
Bringing F4 Back Together
Following months of speculation, an exclusive report by Taiwan's Mirror Media on June 4 revealed that all four F4 members had finally reached an agreement to reunite for a concert celebrating the group's 25th anniversary.
The long-awaited comeback was reportedly made possible by Taiwanese record label B'in Music. According to the report, F4 had long been at the top of the label's wishlist of groups it hoped to bring back together.
The process, however, was far from easy. With each member represented by a different agency, B'in Music reportedly spent a considerable amount of time coordinating and holding discussions with all four members. The challenge was made even more difficult by the personal differences that had previously contributed to the group's split.
However, when F4 officially announced the lineup for its 25th anniversary reunion tour, fans quickly noticed one major absence. While Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Van Ness Wu will reunite onstage, Ken Chu will not be part of the tour, with Mayday frontman Ashin taking part instead.
Forever Forever
Ahead of the highly anticipated reunion tour, Jerry, Vic, and Van Ness teamed up with Taiwanese music icons Jay Chou and Mayday frontman Ashin for the release of the single "Forever Forever."
The song, released ahead of the tour, was composed by Jay with lyrics written by Ashin.
F FOREVER
Before bringing the F FOREVER Tour to the Philippines, F4 first took the stage in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the group mounted three consecutive sold-out shows.
Prior to the Jakarta leg, the trio had already completed 19 performances across the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Chengdu, and Shenzhen.
In May 2026, concert promoter Live Nation officially announced that the F FOREVER Tour would make its Philippine stop at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on June 27.
Where is Ken Chu?
Ken Chu later confirmed that he would not be part of F4's upcoming reunion tour, saying he only learned of his exclusion through online reports.
In a video posted on Instagram, Ken said he was not under contract for the concert, adding that his previous remarks about the reunion were merely him "expressing intentions."
He also revealed that he had rejected certain demands related to the project, although he did not elaborate further, claiming that organizers eventually cut off all communication with him.
Despite his absence, Ken wished his former bandmates well and expressed hope that the four of them would one day reunite again for another project.
Who is Ashin?
In a Facebook post, Mayday frontman Ashin acknowledged that he is "not F4," but said he grew up watching the group and felt honored to be part of the tour.
He revealed that Jerry, Vic, and Van Ness personally invited him to join the project, adding, "I want to give them, and you, the best concert."
The Philippine Comeback
On June 27, original members Jerry, Vic, and Van Ness officially made their long-awaited return to the Philippines as the F FOREVER Tour took over the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
They treated fans to some of F4's biggest hits, including "Meteor Rain," and "Can't Help Falling in Love" and the Meteor Garden theme "Ni Yao De Ai." They also captivated the crowd with solo stages, proving that more than two decades after Meteor Garden, the F4 phenomenon continues to live on across generations.
