Actress Rochelle Pangilinan marked Father’s Day with a special celebration not only for her husband, Art Solinap, but also for their daughter, Shiloh.
On social media, Rochelle shared that instead of spending the occasion as a family of three on Sunday, June 21, Art happily dedicated the day to their daughter by taking her to Day 2 of the BINI Signals World Tour Manila stop.
“Sabi niya, @art_solinap, okay lang daw na gawing araw ni Shiloh ang Father’s Day kasi si Shiloh naman ang dahilan kung bakit namin taon-taon cine-celebrate ang araw na ito. 💖,” Rochelle wrote.
While the family enjoyed watching Shiloh fangirl over her favorite group BINI, Rochelle took the opportunity to express her appreciation for her husband.
“Pero gusto ko pa ring ipaalala sa’yo na hindi lang dahil isa kang ama kaya espesyal ang araw na ito. Espesyal ito dahil ikaw ang klase ng tatay na puno ng pagmamahal, pasensya, gabay, at sakripisyo para sa’ting pamilya,” she added.
She continued her heartfelt message by thanking Art for being both a loving husband and father: “Salamat sa pagiging pinakamahusay na partner sa buhay at pinaka-mapagmahal na daddy ni Shiloh. Nakikita namin araw-araw kung gaano mo kami kamahal, at hinding-hindi namin iyon ipagpapalit. Happy Father’s Day, Bhe. We love you so much! ❤️.”
Rochelle also shared how delighted Shiloh was throughout the concert, posting a video of her daughter reuniting with BINI backstage.
“Ps: ang saya saya nung Shiloh talaga eh 🤭,” she said.
Meanwhile, Art posted photos of Shiloh with the members of BINI, revealing what appeared to be a surprise arranged for their daughter.
“Happy yan sya 😊 surprise Shiloh #BiniSignals Thank you!” Art said in the caption.
Shiloh’s admiration for BINI has been no secret as Rochelle previously revealed that her daughter’s love for the nation’s girl group became one of the reasons she pushed for the SexBomb Girls reunion concert, Get, Get Aw!
During an interview with Karen Davila, Rochelle recalled telling Shiloh that she was once the leader of one of the country’s most iconic girl groups.
"'Yung anak namin ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit isa ako sa nag-push ng concert. Kasi sobrang fan siya sa isang girl group, BINI," Rochelle recalled. "So ngayon kinakanta niya. Tapos sabi ko, 'You know what 'nak, ako ang leader dati. I'm the leader before ng isang girl group, which is SexBomb Girls.'"
However, Rochelle was caught off guard by her daughter’s candid response: "You will never be BINI, mom."
Despite the amusing remark, Rochelle got the chance to show Shiloh her own star power during the reunion concert, where BINI appeared as one of the surprise guests. The special moment became even more memorable when Shiloh got to meet the group backstage.
"This moment will forever be close to my heart. 💛 Thank you BINI for the gift you gave my daughter — pero higit sa anumang material na bagay, binigyan n’yo siya ng core memory na habang-buhay niyang dadalhin. Yung kilig, saya, at feeling na inabutan siya ng pagmamahal at inspirasyon… priceless," she said posting a video of Shiloh meeting BINI.
She added that the experience was priceless because it allowed her daughter to feel the love of her idols.
BINI also sent a birthday message to Shiloh on her 7th birthday.
“Happy 7th birthday, baby. Sayang wala kami diyan to celebrate your birthday but please know that we miss you and we love you so much and we can’t wait to dance with you again,” BINI Jhoanna said.
