As one of the sought-after hunk actors for more than three decades in the industry, Wendell Ramos admitted that attention came not only in the form of projects and admiration but also through indecent proposals that found their way to him.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Wendell candidly shared that receiving such offers was far from unusual especially during his younger years in showbiz.
Asked by host Boy Abunda if he had experienced indecent proposals at the height of his career, Wendell said: “A lot. Yes po.”

According to the actor, making these offers arrive through more personal channels such as mutual acquaintances, friends, or even relatives.
“So hindi po alam kung seryoso ba, Tito Boy,” he said. “But it’s kind of flattering kasi eh parang ‘Wow ‘yung mga inaalok nila hindi rin biro.”
He went on to explain that some of the offers were substantial enough to make anyone pause and think twice, with promises that could include millions of pesos or even properties.
“Something na parang pwedeng tamarin ka na, maging reason para tamarin ka na mag-work. I don't know... Tinatanong mo rin ang sarili mo, I'm asking myself, 'Totoo ba 'tong ganito?' Pero parang totoo, legit naman sila.”
Wendell said that such experiences reveal the darker side of temptation and how easily it could affect someone’s priorities and career, especially if they easily give in.
“Ang hindi lang rin maganda, Tito Boy, sometimes talagang kakainin ka rin kung medyo mahina-hina 'yung [loob mo]. Hindi ko sinasabing perpekto ako, Tito Boy, pero puwede kang kainin, eh... nung situation, puwedeng maging reason ng downfall mo sa work mo,” he said.
The actor acknowledged that he is not a perfect person, but he considers himself fortunate to have remained guided by his responsibilities and values, especially as a father.
“That’s why I feel blessed pa rin po, Tito Boy, na naiahon ko ‘yung mga anak ko sa dapat kong gawin. Hindi ako naging perpektong tao, but in a way, so far, alam ko na kung ano man 'yung meron kami at naitaguyod kong pamilya is because of God's grace and hard work”.
Now 47 years old, Wendell said his perspective on the industry and his image as an actor has evolved. While he remains mindful of the projects he accepts and how he presents himself onscreen, he has shifted his focus toward promoting faith, fitness, and healthy living, particularly through his online presence.
