Actor-turned-politician Alfred Vargas maintained that they are not giving up just yet, following the decision of the Office of the City Prosecutor of Manila. On his official Facebook account, the celebrity father stated that he and his wife, Yasmine Vargas, will continue to seek justice for their child.
The Office of the City Prosecutor of Manila junked the case filed by Alfred and his wife against the parents of the alleged bully of their child. The lawsuit stemmed from the alleged bullying their son went through in the swim club wherein he was allegedly pushed and held underwater.

Alfred noted in his official statement that he respected the decision and remained mindful of due process, but that this wouldn’t hinder them from pursuing all legal remedies.
“We have been informed about the decision of the prosecutor. While we have yet to receive the official decision, we say with certainty that we respect the law and due process and we will continue to do so regardless of the outcome,” he wrote.
“In the same light, due process allows us to seek legal remedies. We will exert all available legal avenues to pursue justice for our child. Hindi pa po dito nagtatapos ang laban,” he added.
Fans of the family expressed their continued support in the comment section and assured them that they will be praying for justice for their child. Other netizens are hopeful that this won’t hinder Alfred and his wife to fight for what’s right.
Meanwhile, Alfred and Yasmine have pulled out their son from the said swim club earlier this month.
“We sincerely hoped matters could still be handled quietly, peacefully, and in a way that would protect the well-being of all the children involved. However, as parents, there comes a point when you must prioritize your children’s emotional welfare, peace of mind, and overall well-being above all else,” Yasmine previously expressed.
