Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 Kapuso 2nd Big Placer Heath Jornales is setting his sights not just on a thriving career in showbiz, but also on giving back to his parents.
Heath is the son of actor and martial artist Michael Roy Jornales and former actress Jem Jornales.
In a candid interview with Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel, the young actor shared how he plans to spend his earnings as an actor. According to Heath, he dreams of creating his own personal space filled with the things he loves.
“Ise-set up ko yung buong bedroom ko ng lahat ng gusto ko sa buhay. May PC (Personal Computer), may shelf [ng collectibles], nakasabit yung mga gitara ko sa wall, ang dami kong pangarap na bilhin [para sa] bedroom ko.”

Beyond personal goals, Heath also revealed that he wanted to build a permanent place of worship for his mother, who is a Christian, and invite their churchmates for free.
“Kasi my mom – we are Christian po – and mom has this church [but] yung church po namin wala po talaga siyang building, they [only] rent an area sa school. Gusto ko po na tulungan yung mommy ko rin na magtayo ng church. Bibili ng lupa tapos magtatayo po ng church para doon po mag-church yung mga ka-churchmates po namin for free.”
He also expressed his desire to bring back a piece of his father’s passion by building a gym where they can train together again.
“Sa tatay ko naman po, gym, para back to training po kami,” he said. “Kasi dati po meron po kaming gym. Doon po ako nagpo-promote before, [with] the team I had. We had a group of students ng taekwondo tapos nagpo-promote kami ng belt. Pero since pandemic, we had to shut it down kasi wala na gaanong pumupunta sa gym dahil bawal na lumabas ang mga tao.”
The pandemic, Heath recalled, was a challenging time for their family, forcing them to make difficult decisions, including selling a car he bought from his earnings as a commercial model at the time. Despite this, he said his father remained a pillar of strength, shielding them from the weight of their struggles.

“Actually, nung pandemic I didn’t really notice it at first…My dad, he is really strong din po kasi he didn’t want us to be sad. He was making sure na we are always smiling and masaya po kami lagi.”
Heath also spoke fondly of his mother, describing her as his unwavering supporter in his showbiz journey.
“I can describe my mom na super supportive po and super masipag. Lahat po ng ganap ko, lahat ng ginagawa ko sa showbiz, sinasamahan niya po ako. She wakes up earlier than me to prepare the stuff that I need for that day. Siya rin po nagbibigay ng food sa akin in the morning. Kaya I really love my mom so much, she’s really nice, she’s really kind. Even tired na siya, ang bait pa rin po ng mommy ko.”
After taking home half a million pesos from winning Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, Heath shared that his cash prizes will go toward practical needs for his family, including buying a car for his tapings, their house construction, and financial support for his father.
More than anything, the young actor said he dreams of one day allowing his parents to retire and live comfortably, as he takes on the role of being their family’s provider.
