While acknowledging that it gets tiring at times, Vice Ganda has made it clear that she has no plans to retire from showbiz as long as her viewers still want her.

Staying strong and popular at 50, Vice told showbiz reporters, including ABS-CBN News, “The idea of retiring has not crossed my mind yet.

“I'm so obsessed with what I do now. I'm obsessed with 'Showtime.' Every year, I get so excited to make movies.

The host of "Everybody Sing" believes that growing older shouldn't stop people from doing new things and venturing outside of their comfort zones.

“I don’t wanna limit myself. There are still a lot of other things I envision myself doing. [Habang] tumatanda ka, mayroon kang hindi mga nagagawa before, pero you’ll be surprised na may mga hindi ka nagagawa before na, ‘Ay, kaya ko pala ‘yun. Ay, gusto ko pala ‘yun. Ay, masaya pala ‘yun,’” said the phenomenal superstar.

She added, “All of us have unrealized potentials, na kapag nalaman natin ‘yun, mas masarap ‘yung life, and you don’t mind getting older every year.”

Meanwhile, Vice is not considering the strong calls for her to run in the next elections. “Nagpapagod lang sila. Huwag nating seryosohin ‘yan,” she laughed.

Admitting that some politicians have requested her views on current issues, the Kapamilya superstar revealed, “May public officials na nakikipag-usap sa akin from time to time. Kahit naman nung time ni PNoy. Pinapasama niya ako lagi at tinatanong niya ako lagi. Maraming humihingi ng opinyon [ko].”

While she does not intend to enter politics, making political jokes will always be in her DNA.

“Kung ika-cancel ninyo kami, sige. Kung mao-offend kayo, sige. We will just keep doing our thing. Magpapatawa kami. Kapag na-offend kayo, ma-offend kayo,” she expressed.

“I do political jokes but I am mindful.

For those who admire her bravery in talking politics on television, she left this message: “Bahagi ng komedya ang satire.
