BINI had a memorable encounter with Mexican superstar Thalia at the Billboard Women in Music 2026 in Los Angeles, California.
Billboard shared a backstage clip capturing the warm interaction between the Nation's Girl Group and the Latin icon.
"Mabuhay. Salamat po," Thalia greeted the members upon meeting them.
The Marimar star then fondly recalled her connection with Filipino audiences, telling BINI: "I have so many beautiful memories [of] your country. They have always been so loving to me for many years," she shared.
When asked by BINI's Joanna about the possibility of visiting the Philippines, Thalia enthusiastically responded: "If you invite me!"
BINI received the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music, held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on April 29 (U.S. time). Meanwhile, Thalía was honored with the Icon Award.
In their acceptance speech, BINI expressed sincere appreciation to Billboard for the recognition, dedicating the honor to their fans and the OPM community.
"Thank you Billboard for this Global Force Award. Standing here tonight is something we BINI could only dream about. We are deeply honored to be given a chance to represent Filipino music and artists back home," BINI Colet remarked.
She added: "This is not just a milestone for us but also a responsibility we carry with so much pride. We also want to acknowledge our co-awardees tonight who we look up to. We are big, big fans of yours. We can’t believe we’re in the same room breathing the same air,” she added.

BINI Jhoanna, meanwhile, expressed her hope that BINI's journey could inspire young girls to chase their own dreams. She also conveyed the group's gratitude to ABS-CBN for supporting and believing in them from the start.
The recognition follows a major milestone for BINI, who recently made history as the first all-Filipino act to perform at Coachella, appearing on the Mojave Stage during both weekends of the festival
