Angelica Panganiban’s series comeback with ABS-CBN Studios is screaming with intensity as she delves into suspense-drama as a mother to a deaf child in "The Silent Noise."

In the series, Panganiban plays Jackie, a mother to her deaf son Eli, who mourns the death of his tutor Sam, played by Mylene Dizon.

During the first episode preview, the kid-tutor relationship took an interesting turn when Sam dies. Angelica’s character was distraught as she didn’t just lose a "second parent:" or a tutor to her son, but also a friend. But more suspicious events unfolded when it was revealed that Panganibana’s husband played by Zanjoe Marudo had an "affair" or "what it seems like an affair" with the tutor before she died.

The 10-episode series tackles unraveling the truth behind the silence of some or the environment.

During the media conference, Panganiban weighed in on the importance of speaking out for the truth after the cast was asked to react to a recent statement by Vice Ganda. A member of the press referenced the comedian’s call to action on "It's Showtime," asking: “Sabi ni Vice Ganda, sa recent episode ng 'It’s Showtime,' kung tayo ay may napapansin na mali at hindi tama, huwag tayong mawawalan ng boses o matatakot o i-call out. Kasi kung hindi at wala kang ginawa sa gitna ng kasamaan, bahagi ka na rin nito. Do you agree? And why do you think people remain silent when something is wrong?”

Panganiban answered, “I think nanatili tayong tahimik dahil sa fear.”

“Sa fear na ini-impose sa atin ng society, o kung saan man 'yung pinasok natin, anumang institution man 'yun. Kailangan kasi mawala yung fear. 'Yun ang pinakauna dapat na, magsasalita ka naman kung matapang ka eh.”

She urged, “So kailangan ma-build sa atin 'yung tapang. And kapag tama ka, wala kang dapat ikatakot. Kailangan mong mag-speak up. Hindi lang para sa sarili mo, kasi hindi lang naman ikaw 'yung makikinabang. All the more ikaw pa nga 'yung mapasama.”

“Pero kailangan mong mag-speak up. Palagi. Kung gusto mo ng pagbabago, kailangan mong magsalita.”

“Lahat ng tinatago, lahat ng iniipon, bumabaho,” she stressed.

“So tama, magiging parte ka ng mali kung hindi nakisali doon sa tama.”

"The Silent Noise" premieres on Prime Video on March 20, with two fresh episodes dropping every Friday.
