"Core memory."
This was how Rochelle Pangilinan described the experience of her daughter, Shiloh, when the latter met BINI, who had a surprise performance during the third night of the Get, Get Aw concert of the SexBomb Girls at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, February 6.
On her Instagram page, Rochelle shared a clip of Shiloh meeting her idol BINI backstage as a surprise.
"This moment will forever be close to my heart. 💛 Thank you BINI for the gift you gave my daughter — pero higit sa anumang material na bagay, binigyan n’yo siya ng core memory na habang-buhay niyang dadalhin. Yung kilig, saya, at feeling na inabutan siya ng pagmamahal at inspirasyon… priceless," she remarked.
The dancer-singer highlighted that it was memorable not only for her daughter but also for their entire family. "Salamat sa pagiging mabait and generous. Hindi lang ‘to memory para sa kanya — memory rin 'to para sa isang nanay,lalo na sa tatay na laging nakasuporta sa pangarap ng unica ija nya @art_solinap . @bini_ph," she said.
During her meet and greet with BINI, Shiloh received gifts from the Nation's Girl Group. "This is the best day ever!" Shiloh exclaimed.
In a previous interview with Karen Davila, Rochelle shared that her daughter was one of the reasons why she pushed for the SexBomb Girls to have a reunion concert.
"'Yung anak namin ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit isa ako sa nag-push ng concert. Kasi sobrang fan siya sa isang girl group, BINI," Rochelle relayed. "So ngayon kinakanta niya. Tapos sabi ko, 'You know what 'nak, ako ang leader dati. I'm the leader before ng isang girl group, which is SexBomb Girls.'"
However, the SexBomb leader was taken aback by Shiloh's reaction as her daughter responded with: "You will never be BINI, mom."
Rochelle recalled that she became so overwhelmed with emotion that she called her husband, Arthur Solinap, just to tell her daughter that she indeed belonged to a girl group.
Although Arthur reassured her, Shiloh remained uncertain, which pushed Rochelle to feel even more motivated to reunite the group. "'Yung itsura ko talaga sa concert, 'Nak, napanood mo? Grupo ko 'to!'" Rochelle recounted. "Noong concert namin, 'yung Round 1, talon siya nang talon buong gabi. Ramdam na ramdam ko na proud na proud siya."
During the SexBomb Girls' performance with BINI on Friday, Rochelle had a playful moment with her daughter, saying, "Anak, ito. Huh! Anong masasabi mo, 'nak?"
