The actress recently sparked online buzz after posting on Instagram a bouquet of flowers from someone who wrote that loving her “feels easy.”

“It is too early to tell. Starting stages. baka ma-jinx. Wag muna, guys. I am just enjoying my life lang din muna,” Padilla said during the grand media conference of her upcoming film “A special Memory.”

Padilla, however, explained she feels ready for a new relationship.

“I think so, matagal na rin— more than a year na akong single. Kung meron, meron,” she said.

Joining Padilla in “A Special Memory,” the adaptation of Japanese drama “Pure Soul,” is Carlo Aquino.

Known for their unforgettable and  heart-tugging performances, the pair teased the film may be their most heart-wrenching project yet.

“Masasaktan at masasaktan ka talaga. Isa sa pinakamagandang eksena iyong nagske-sketch siya,” Aquino recalled.

“I only watched four scenes, nag-dub ako. Natapos ako 1, nakauwi ako 2. Mula 2 p.m. hanggang 7, hindi ako bumangon sa kama sobrang bigat,” Padilla added.

“A Special Memory,” directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and written by National Artist Ricky Lee, will hit cinemas on March 11.
