Ogie Diaz opened up about his talent management style, sharing that he goes beyond managing the professional lives of his artists.

"Sa totoo lang, pati personal nilang buhay pinapakialaman ko," he revealed in an interview on the Rated R: The Rico Hizon Podcast.

He explained why it is important for a talent manager to give advice regarding an artist’s personal matters.

So dapat pati 'yung persona nila, inaayos mo, pinapakiaalaman mo, nagsa-suggest ka, nagpapayo ka," he said.

Ogie previously managed Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. If there is one major lesson he imparted to these artists, the talent manager said it is the importance of investing in properties.

He then explained to Vice why property investment was important. So we bought one na mag-kapitbahay pa nga kami," he said.

Ogie also encouraged Liza to invest in property. Sabi ko, 'Hindi, sisikat ka anak, kailangan mo ng sariling bahay," he said.

The television host then looked for a house for Liza in Quezon City. O iyon 'yung ginawa namin. O di, nakaraos siya at meron na siyang bahay at tsaka napakabait ng ABS-CBN, talagang pinautang si Liza," he said.
