Kapamilya actor and comedian Vice Ganda shared his point of view over the viral airport video of him and a fan. In one of the latest episodes of It’s Showtime earlier this week, the Call Me Mother star recalled how the netizen who took a video of him at the airport actually knew his name in contrast to what was said in the video.
The video Vice was referring to was about a netizen who followed him while walking in the airport as he was about to check his baggage in. The Kapamilya star was minding his own business and even greeted the netizen a happy new year despite them not knowing his name.

“Uwi ka na ng Pinas? Happy New Year!” the netizen told Vice.
“Happy New Year po, hindi niyo nga ako kilala ate,” Vice quipped.
The netizen defended herself and shared that she saw the comedian on television. The assistant of Vice then asked the netizen to stop filming as they were about to leave.
During the recent episode of It’s Showtime, Vice jokingly shared that one of the contestants of their segment Laro Laro Pick resembled the netizen who uploaded the video on social media.
“Kamukha mo yung nag vivideo sa akin sa airport,” he told the contestant.
“Ay kilala ko 'to eh! Sikat 'to eh! Sikat 'to eh! Artista to eh! Sikat 'tong artista eh!’” he added.
Vice then revealed that prior to the video, the netizen actually recognized him already.
“Tapos echusera hindi daw niya kilala yung pangalan ko eh kitang kita ko siya. Nakita ko siya na nakita niya ako. ‘Ay! Si Vice Ganda!’ tapos vinideo ako. Ang layo ng nilakad niya girl ah talagang bwinisit niya ako,” he recalled.
He then jokingly ended the story as he didn’t want the netizen to receive any more hate on social media but maintained he had the full story.
“Ayoko na ikwento yung buo dahil mababash ka lalo day! Pero malala, nang ansha,” he expressed.

Hosts of the show joined in on his joke as they also saw the video that’s been circulating on social media.
Meanwhile, Vice previously won the Best Actor award at the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in the blockbuster film, Call Me Mother. The film is still showing in cinemas nationwide and also stars Nadine Lustre, child star Lucas Andalio, and John Lapus, among many others.
