Surfacing around early 2019, cheating allegations of Ronnie and Loisa becoming linked to an unverified video scandal that circulated on social media. Neither party confirmed nor denied the issues but made posts online, hinting that they have been facing the issues together.

During the height of the allegations, LoiNie kept their composure and even shared with the media how they continue strengthening their relationship.
"Respeto sa isa't-isa, siyempre kung medyo sarado ka, i-open mo yung utak mo para sa babaeng gusto mo, at mahal mo," said Ronnie.
"Kami kasi ni Ronnie hindi kami nagpapa-apekto sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao, kumbaga kung anong meron [kami] sa [sa'min] lang. So, hindi [kami] showbiz bilang mag-jowa. Kung ano meron sa amin, kami lang ang nakakaalam, at kung may problema kami lang ang mag-aayos," said Loisa.
2020: LoiNie Keeps Going Strong Amid Controversies
For the first time ever, just months after public scrutiny, Loisa spoke in detail on Tonight with Boy Abunda to address the controversies she and Ronnie had been facing together. In the interview, she recalled how tough the moment was and admitted that it left a mark on her, nearly making her “give up.”
“Ngayon, masasabi ko na natuto ako. Bumabangon ako, nakabangon ako. Dahil po iyon sa mga taong nagmamahal sa akin sa paligid ko. Hindi po ako perpektong tao. Nagkakamali din po ako. Ang mahalaga sa akin, natuto ako, bumangon ako, lumaban ako. Tuloy ang buhay,” she told Boy.

“Sa totoo, ang daming pumasok sa isip ko na, ‘Ayoko na, pagod na ako.’ Hindi ko na kaya ‘yung masasakit na binibigay sa akin ng mga tao, lalo’t hindi naman nila alam,” she explained.
She also credited Ronnie for being a source of strength during their hard situation.
“Siya po ‘yung isa sa dahilan kung bakit naging mas matapang ako lumaban… Sinabihan niya ako na, ‘Ako bahala sa ‘yo, taas-noo tayong lalabas, hindi kita pababayaan,’” she recalled.
In October, LoiNie continued to show how strong their relationship was as they got ready to think about what’s ahead for them. During their guesting on Magandang Buhay, the couple shared plans of building their own home.
2021: Half a Decade with LoiNie
Over the years, while they avoided over-sharing, they still allowed fans into their world through subtle yet meaningful posts. For instance, in November 2021, they celebrated five years as a couple with a getaway to Siargao. Loisa posted photos of the beach moments, writing “cheers to more memories ✨🤍”.
On his part, Ronnie shared memories of their candlelit dinner date and wrote a heartfelt message.
"Ikalimang taon para sa’tin dalawa! Mahal na mahal kita, mas higit pa sa iniisip mo," he wrote.
2022: LoiNie shares the secret to a lasting relationship
After starring in the digital series Unloving U and working again in iWantTFC Original series The Goodbye Girl, the couple shared in a media event the secrets to a long-lasting relationship.
“Okay na ako eh. Kuntento na ako sa kanya. Kaya parang ang hirap din na sabihin ko sa kanya or magpaalam ako sa kanya nang ganun kasi okay na ako. Kuntento na ako. Once na nakuntento ka, yun naman ang importante. Once na nakuntento ka at kumportable ka, wala ka nang hahanapin pang iba,” Ronnie shared.

“Hindi naman namin masasabi na yung relasyon namin masaya talaga. Siyempre off-cam naman meron talagang nangyayari na hindi nila nakikita at nababalitaan... Kami naman ni Loisa, hindi kami lumalabas nang hindi kami okay. Kung magkaaway tayo ngayon, pag-uusapan natin para paglabas natin, okay tayong dalawa,” he explained.

“Hindi siya kailangan lang kilig, kailangan lang sweet. Ang daming kailangan para mag-work yung relationship. Kailangan nagko-compromise kayo. Honesty sa isa't isa. Respeto. Walang tinatagong kasalanan. Basta gusto nyong dalawa magwo-work ang relasyon,” Loisa added, emphasizing how they value honesty and respect.
2023: LoiNie Opens Up and Ronnie Admits Cheating in the Past
What proved to be one of their most challenging moments came in 2023. During an appearance on Magandang Buhay, Ronnie publicly admitted that, in their nearly seven years together, he had cheated multiple times.
“Nung [naghiwalay kami], sobrang sakit pala nung feeling na ganun. Parang mga halos isang linggo, dalawang linggo, nawala ako talaga. Lumabas ako with tropa and friends para maalis sa utak ko 'yung nangyari. Pero na-realize ko din sa dulo na baka karma lang din ito kasi,” he began.
“Tinake ko 'yun as karma kasi ang dami kong kasalanan sa kanya before pa mangyari 'yun. Ang dami niyang nahuli sa akin. Ilang babae ang nahuli mo? Alam niya. Nahuli niya ako. So naramdaman ko 'yung feeling kung gaano kasakit yung ganung pakiramdam,” he added.
It was a painful admission under the spotlight and heartbreak for many fans. But instead of the end, it marked a turning point.
“Sa totoo lang, aaminin ko, mali ako. Kasi 'yung mga nakatrabaho ko dati at 'yung mga nakasama ko dati, hindi ko nilinaw sa kanila at hindi ko sinabi sa kanila na kami ni Loisa. Tinago ko rin sa mga naging ka-partner ko,” he said.
“Yun lang po ang nililinaw ko na ngayon ko lang sinabi, na ako 'yung may mali doon. Sa mga fans, huwag niyo iba-bash 'yung mga babae na na-link sa akin dati kasi hindi nila alam. Kasalanan ko 'yun,” he admitted.
The couple discussed openly what went wrong and took time to communicate, rebuild trust, and recommit to moving forward with respect and honesty.
2024: LoiNie celebrates 8th anniversary; Ronnie said Loisa is definitely “the one”
In November 2024, marking eight years together, Ronnie again posted a sweet tribute on Instagram. He shared photos of Loisa holding flowers and wrote that, no matter how busy they were, he’d always make time to express his love.
Loisa responded by reposting his photos with an infinity symbol.

In June, Ronnie said that Loisa is definitely “the one”.
“Kami ni Loisa, enjoy kami. Focused kami sa trabaho, makapag-ipon at makapag-invest pa. Eight years na kami this year. Kung mahal mo ang tao, dapat may plano kayo. Kung wala, maghiwalay na kayo,” Ronnie said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
“Siya na talaga, siya na, alam mo iyon,” he added.
2025: LoiNie as Mr. And Mrs. Alonte
Years passed, love endured, and commitment deepened. Then came November 2025, a month that sent fans into happy tears. On November 22, 2025, Loisa shared a simple photo on Instagram: her dog. But a closer look revealed something more telling: a sparkling diamond ring on her finger. There was no caption, but to fans that one photo spoke louder than words. Within hours, the internet was buzzing. Friends and colleagues from the industry flooded the comments with congratulatory messages.
Despite the buzz, the couple did not immediately confirm the engagement even as they attend the Star Magical Christmas 2025 event. Soon after, the engagement was confirmed as they shared Ronnie’s proposal vlog on November 26.
But the biggest surprise was yet to come. On November 27, just a day after the engagement reveal, Ronnie uploaded a series of intimate wedding photos on Instagram. It was private, low-key ceremony, captioned: “Zup! Mrs. Alonte.” In a single post, the couple had gone from engaged to married, unveiling their commitment to the world.
In a follow-up post, Loisa shared more photos from their wedding day: her bridal gown, the smiles, the happy tears, and a message of overwhelming gratitude. She thanked God for timing and guidance, and said the wedding wasn’t just about the day, it was about their journey, their past, present, and the future they now pledge together.
“Just Married 🥹💜♾️,” Loisa wrote.
The couple also shared their wedding video, which had fans crying with the many loving moments.
Following their intimate wedding, Loisa and Ronnie once again surprised their fans by announcing another milestone in their relationship: they are expecting their first child together. The couple shared the joyful news on Christmas Day in a joint post on Instagram, describing the baby as a “miracle”.
“Baby Jesus, maraming maraming salamat sa pinakamalaking blessing na ipinagkaloob mo sa amin ni R2. You trusted us with a miracle we’ve been quietly holding close to our hearts,” Loisa wrote.
She added, “Ngayon lang kami nakaramdam ng ganitong klaseng pagmamahal, isang pagmamahal na napakalalim para sa isang taong hindi pa namin nakikilala.”
Excited to meet their little one, Loisa expressed how their baby is a gift that will change their lives. “To our little miracle, sobrang excited na kami na makilala ka. Ikaw ang aming panalangin na sinagot at ang regalong magbabago sa aming buhay ngayong Pasko. 🤍” she shared.
Loisa also proudly showcased her baby bump in a follow-up Instagram post, delighting fans who have been following their journey. “May isang munting tibok na sabay sa puso ko. Isang paalala na may isang buhay na ngayon ay bahagi na ng akin,” she wrote.
