Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial was quick to shut down a blind item circulating on social media. On her official Facebook account, she expressed that she just knew that the blind item was about her as she recently announced the construction of her new house in Bicol.
The blind item uploaded on social media talked about a "Lovely Celebrity" that recently got a dream home that was allegedly paid for by a “very powerful admirer.”

Barbie shared the post and immediately debunked that someone had a say in the house she was building.
“Lol this is so obvious it's about me. Hindi nalang kayo maging masaya. I can proudly say NO MAN helped me achieve this,” she wrote.
The Kapamilya actress added that this was a made-up story that had the intent to bring someone down. In the comment section of her post, she urged her followers to report the page to which some of her followers obliged.
“Kung sino pa yung sarili mong kapwa pinoy talaga hihila sayo pababa. God bless you, whoever you are. Makagawa ka lang ng kwento. 😂 bye,” she added.
Barbie then shared a screenshot of her conversation with the Facebook page who uploaded the blind item. In their conversation, the page maintained that the blind item wasn’t about her and will not be taking down the post.

“Sorry but since it’s obviously not you based on the clues, we will not take down the BI. The details say it all: the property value alone reach over a hundred million and it is located in a posh village in the south. Those make you outside of the scope of the suspects,” the Facebook page told Barbie.
“The details lang kasi pwedeng pwedeng ako eh. Bicol is also South. Sweat and tears, like how you said it in my post. Hope you understand that I have to make sure people know it’s not me. Thanks again,” Barbie replied.
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actress recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for her future home in Bicol. She expressed how proud she is to have her own home in her province that was a result from her hard work in the industry.
“May bahay na ako sa Bicol… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now I have my own home in my province,” she previously shared.
Barbie is set to star in the upcoming ABS-CBN series, Blood vs Duty alongside Richard Gutierrez, Gerald Anderson, Bela Padilla, and Baron Geisler, among others.
