MANILA — Korean Kapamilya star Ryan Bang has made the Top 10 of the 2025 Korea National Image Survey, which recognizes Koreans who positively influenced the country’s global image.
The “It’s Showtime” host expressed his gratitude on Wednesday, saying, “Dahil sa inyo ’yon,” as he thanked fans and colleagues for their support.
The 2025 Korea National Image Survey was released by Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 20.
"Gusto ko siyempre magpasalamat sa inyong lahat, Republic of Korea, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, na na-appreciate 'yung mga ginagawa ko rito sa Pilipinas. And sa Korean embassy here in the Philippines, Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa, always choosing me as your host sa lahat ng Korean National Day here in the Philippines, lahat ng government events ako po ang pinipili niyong host for more than 10 years. Thank you so much sa Korean government. Pumasok ako sa Top 10," said Bang, who also thanked everyone in Korean.

He also thanked his "It's Showtime" family and the madlang people.
"Siyempre sa mga host, Meme Vice (Ganda), pinapayagan niyo ako kapag may event sa Korean embassy, maraming-maraming salamat. Dahil sa inyo po 'yon maraming salamat," Bang added.
The 2025 Korea National Image Survey was conducted in October last year and covered almost 13,000 respondents across 26 countries.
Bang received 1.9% of the responses, the same share as Lee Jae-myung and Blackpink's Lisa.
Topping the list was global group BTS, who received the highest number of responses at 7.9%, followed by Son Heung-min.

Bang started his showbiz career in the Philippines as part a housemate of "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010."
