Seasoned actress Janice De Belen shared heartwarming moments as her family kicked off the wedding preparations for her daughter, Moira Danielle Estrada.
On social media, the ROJA star posted a video showing her daughters Inah de Belen and Kaila Estrada becoming emotional during what Janice described as the family’s first official wedding planning meeting for Moira’s big day.
“TODAY WAS THE FIRST OFFICIAL PLANNING DAY FOR THE WEDDING OF @daniellebestrada and @alfonsomiguel_ ❤️,” Janice shared.
She added, “THERE WERE TEARS, FIRST DAY PA LANG🤣 WOW! TOTOO NA NGA! MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED👰♀🤵.”
In another video, it was not just Inah and Kaila but also Janice who could not hold back her emotions as the reality of her daughter preparing to settle down began to sink in.
“PART 2 OF LAST NIGHTS HAPPY TEARS 😜,” Janice captioned in the second video.
The touching family moment drew warm reactions from fellow celebrities and netizens alike in the comment section.
“Aaawwww…… exciting times for your family🙌😍,” Arlene Muhlach said.
A netizen said, “Grabe po, ang gaganda ng mga anak mo! Also, I find it amusing na andami palang tao sa paligid nyo habang nag-iiyakan kayo.😂❤️.”
Janice’s close friend Candy Pangilinan admitted she was moved not until she read the comment of Janice’s eldest child, Luigi Muhlach.
“Ano ba naiyak ako tapos nabasa ko message ni @muhlachluigi . Natawa ako,” Candy said.
Luigi, meanwhile, joked, “Talagang pinili niyo umiyak sa gitna ng rockwell ah 😂😂😂 @super_janice @daniellebestrada @inah @kailaestrada.”
Moira is one of Janice’s children with her former husband, actor John Estrada, who currently stars in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. In January of last year, Moira announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Alfonso Miguel after three years of dating.
“This was how we planned to celebrate our third anniversary—working together on New Year's Eve, followed by a simple dinner. But little did I know, he had something else in mind. On a rainy night just past midnight on January 1, I said yes to my person,” Moira said, alongside photos and videos from the engagement.
Moira recalled way back in 2024 that she and sister Kaila casually talked about songs she hoped to hear on her proposal day. Alfonso eventually included one in the actual moment. Kaila, who was Moira’s roommate, and Inah who was in a video call at the time, were also present during the proposal.
She added that Alfonso was unable to kneel during the proposal because she had already accepted before he could do so.
“Special mention to my roomie @kailaestrada who kept the secret while living together, and @alexdequatro and @inah for helping set up at the condo while we were both working 😅,” Moira stated.
Addressing her fiancé, she added, “To @alfonsomiguel_ ang galing mo 🤣 I can't wait to be your wife and I love you endlessly ♡.”
Janice also reposted the proposal video on her social media page, writing, “LOOKING BACK TO THE DAY IT STARTED❤️ @daniellebestrada @alfonsomiguel_”
Meanwhile, Moira revealed that the proposal setup was inspired by Monica and Chandler’s iconic apartment proposal scene from the hit television series Friends.
