Supermodel Kendall Jenner opened up about years of speculation surrounding her appearance as she sat down with Owen Thiele on the podcast In Your Dreams on January 9. In conversation, the model addressed persistent rumors that she has undergone plastic surgery, explaining that she never did anything to her face.

Kendall, who has long been one of the most recognizable faces in fashion, rose to the top of the industry in 2017 when she was named the world’s highest-paid model, earning $22 million (₱1.3 billion) and ending Gisele Bündchen’s 15-year run at the top, according to Forbes. That same year, she was also honored as Fashion Icon of the Decade at New York Fashion Week, placing her under even greater public scrutiny.

During the interview, Kendall firmly denied claims that she has altered her face through plastic surgery. She clarified that despite ongoing rumors, she has never gone under the knife. “I’ve never had any plastic surgery on my face, nothing,” she said.

“I’ve never had any work done. I told you, the only thing I’ve done twice: I’ve done baby Botox in my forehead. I didn’t love it—and I don’t love it—and I consider it sometimes, but then I’m like, my eyebrows are so straight and low to my eyes that I actually really enjoy the movement that I have, so if anything, I did it for fine lines. But I’ve only done PRP (platelet-rich plasma injections – a procedure used to assist wound healing).”

She also addressed one of the most persistent rumors surrounding her appearance, claiming that she had a nose job. Kendall acknowledged why people might think so, even admitting that old photos sometimes surprise her as well.

“I will say the nose job allegations I’ve gotten, I would believe them if I wasn’t me. I look at old photos of me, and I’m like, ‘Wait, it does look like I have a nose job.’ I swear to God on everything, everything that I love, I’ve never had a nose job.”

According to Kendall, natural changes over time played a role in how her face looks today. “As I got older, I grew into my nose. My nose did look wider, and it did feel bigger on my face when I was younger.”

She also pointed to another possible factor for the supposed change in appearance that has been widely discussed online, particularly on social media platforms. “I did Accutane for my acne. And there’s a theory on TikTok that Accutane shrinks your nose. And you guys, I swear to God, it’s true.”

Beyond addressing rumors about herself, Kendall expressed concern over the growing trend of online videos that analyze and speculate about celebrities’ cosmetic procedures. She described these videos as harmful, especially when they are presented as professional opinions.

“I’ll see videos of me and a professional, a licensed doctor is on Instagram or TikTok. And they’re doing a breakdown of all the surgeries I’ve had and all the work I’ve had done and all these things,” she said. “And I’ve seen them on other people, too, of course, and people that I know who have never had those things done.”

She emphasized how such content can influence young viewers in troubling ways. Those videos, she said, “can affect young people in such an interesting way because then they see that, and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, that’s what I have to do to look like that.’ And then they go rush and they do something silly…I mean, we all make silly decisions at young ages and maybe things that later on we regret.”
