Andi Eigenmann kicked off the new year with the Anthropologie rock prank her family pulled off on her partner, champion surfer Philmar Alipayo.
On social media, Andi shared a video documenting how she, her sister Stevie Eigenmann, and daughter Ellie Ejercito managed to trick Philmar into believing that a simple rock was an expensive home décor item.
“On NYE, we did the Anthropologie prank on Philmar, (and then by accident also Jade & Xavi).. My first ever prank on @chepoxz was a success!! Made possible by my sissy @stevieeigengirl π and thanks for the support girls @ellieeejercito @janicarlx @liibra24,” Andi wrote in the caption.
The on-screen text in the video added context to the joke, revealing that the prank was carefully planned by the Eigenmann girls, even poking fun at the fact that the luxury brand isn’t available locally.
“We did the Anthropologie Rock prank on Philmar... even if we don't even have Anthropologie in the PH (laughing emojis).”
The Anthropologie rock prank is a viral social media trend where people convince others that an ordinary rock is a pricey, curated home décor item from an international lifestyle brand known for selling decorative pieces.
In the video, Stevie presented the rock as her “Christmas gift,” telling Andi that she had finally found the perfect item for her sister. Andi played along, pretending to cry and squeal with excitement, immediately making Philmar curious.
“This is for our new house. As in Mahal I will put it on like a coffee table,” Andi said.

Philmar expressed: “Pakita mo nga!”
Andi dramatically revealed the “gift,” continuing to cry tears of joy as she exclaimed: “Naiiyak ako eh. Oh my god! Appear tayo. This is so pretty.”
Stevie then claimed that the supposed décor piece was a “special edition” from the store, priced at β±17,000. Still unconvinced, Philmar turned to Ellie, who was behind the camera, to ask what the item really was.
“That’s just a rock,” Philmar told Ellie to which Ellie joined in the prank, saying, “No, that’s a famous type of rock.”
Andi’s exaggerated emotional reaction only added to Philmar’s confusion, making him say: “I’ll get rocks like that and sell it too!”
He then asked Andi to let him touch the rock and examined it closely, saying: “Look, it’s really just a rock. I will find one tomorrow and sell it for 18k.”

Despite his doubts, Andi, Stevie, and their friends kept straight faces, insisting that the rock was indeed a rare and expensive decorative piece.
“It’s super nice and it’s super unique like, grabe yung color,” Stevie said.
At one point, Philmar asked for a flashlight to search for “minerals” that might explain its value. Just as he began to entertain the idea, Andi abruptly ended the act by throwing the rock away, revealing that it had all been a prank.
“HAHAHAHA we will take the (Win),” Stevie commented.
Fans and friends were equally amused, flooding the comment section with laughter and playful reactions.

Another one expressed, “Was not expecting you to throw it in the end! π bruh! Labas sa ilong ung 'it is mahal' ni @chepoxz eh π.
Emillienne Vigier also said, “HAHAHAHAH it’s the throwing of the rock in the end for me @stevieeigengirl.”
