Rufa Mae Quinto has returned to the Philippines after flying to the US following the passing of her husband, Trevor Magallanes.
In an Instagram post, the actress shared with her followers that she is back in the country as she resumes her work.
"Tuwing umuulan … 🎶 The show must go go go on! Andito na kami ng Pilipinas , para mag work. Pero itong kanta ko practice lang to!" she said.
Rufa Mae admitted that she is still digesting the recent events in her life. "Kasama at naiuwi ko na din asawa at anak ko. Speechless pa din ako sa shock sa naganap sa buhay namin. Wala ako masabi, kaya kakanta na lang ako," she said.
In another post, she relayed that she would release a statement soon on her YouTube channel regarding what happened in her life recently. "Maraming realizations after all that has happened to me recently. And I'm planning to make a statement about it in my YouTube channel soon, so watch out for that!" she said.
Prior to returning to the Philippines, Rufa Mae was joined by friends and family for a gathering dedicated to Trevor in the US.
"Yesterday, 15 August 2025, was the celebration of life of my husband Trevor. Dumating ang mga kaibigan ko para suportahan at tulungan ako... Mahal ko kayo," she posted back in August.
She added: "Inihanda namin ang hall at courtyard para sa celebration of life. Maraming family, friends, at workmates ang dumating para mag bigay-pugay sa kanya. Meron ding playroom para sa mga bata to honor Trev, the gamer. We will keep you posted sa mga ganap namin dito. Please patuloy nyong ipagdasal ang kapayapaan ni Trev. #TrevorForever🤍."
It was in July when Rufa revealed the passing of her husband.
"I'm deeply saddened by this development. Hope u give us time to mourn his loss especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!" she said in a statement upon revealing Trevor's death.
Rufa Mae asked the public to stop spreading speculations and misinformation. "We are still gathering factual information about his death. Even us or his immediate family are still verifying what happened. So we kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death," she said.
She added: "Thank [you] very much and pls give us respect & pray for us in this time of trial."
Rufa Mae concluded her post, saying: "Hanggang sa huli…. Hanggang sa muli, mahal kita Trev."
