Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador revealed that her heart is in a happy state at the moment without disclosing if there’s a special someone behind it. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, the Open Endings actress shared some qualities that she’s looking for in a partner.
Janella has been facing rumors linking her to her fellow actress, Klea Pineda, but has asserted that she wasn’t the reason for the latter’s breakup with her then-girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf.
“Masaya ang puso ko ngayon. Genuinely, I’m happy right now–– all aspects of my life, I’m doing okay. Happy ako,” she shared.
The Kapamilya star then shared that she’s looking for a stable partner that would be there not only for her but also her son, Jude. She maintained that she needs to think about her son as well if she were to enter a relationship.
“I think now, I’m really looking for stability. Especially now that I don’t have only myself to think of but also my son. So if I enter any relationship, non-negotiable yun–– kailangan sigurado ako, kailangan stable na siya, kailangan maayos,” she added.
When asked about the third-party allegations once more, Janella shared her thoughts as to why the rumors began in the first place.
“Paano nga ba nag simula? I guess cause mag katrabaho kami sa Open Endings kaya nag ka rumors ng ganun. They broke up right after the film so I guess that’s where all the rumors started. They saw that we were hanging out after the film–– we’ve been hanging out,” she maintained.

Boy then directly asked her if she was open to being in a relationship with the same gender, the actress didn’t specify her answer as she doesn’t see the need to at the moment but admitted that she can love who she will love.
“Would I? I guess that answer would have to stay with me muna. But, I love who I love,” she candidly answered.
Meanwhile, Janella is set to have some busy months ahead of her as she stars in the upcoming Cinemalaya film, Open Endings, which will start this October 3. She will also be part of the highly-anticipated thriller series What Lies Beneath, alongside Kaila Estrada, Sue Ramirez, and Charlie Dizon.
