These were the words Bea Alonzo shared on her Instagram post that broke the internet several years ago after her ex-boyfriend, Gerald Anderson, confirmed his relationship with his then-girlfriend, Julia Barretto, in a tell-all interview.
Bea and Gerald were together for several years before parting ways with one another back in 2019. The Kapamilya actor maintained that there wasn’t any third party involved as to why they decided to split.

Two years after their messy breakup, Gerald decided to do a tell-all interview with Boy Abunda where he confirmed that he was dating Julia and was “very happy” with their relationship.
Days after the interview, Bea then posted an update on her life–– spending it with her family as the pandemic gave her the chance to do so. Without dropping any names, the actress expressed in her post how time was the ultimate truth teller and added laughing emojis to the surprise of her fans.
“So, here’s to TIME! 🥂
Time that is best spent with family,
Time that heals all wounds, and
TIME AS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH TELLER! 🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣,” she previously shared.
Netizens assumed that this post was in relation to the confirmation of Gerald and Julia’s relationship but nothing has been confirmed as of this writing.

Fast forward to 2025, rumors of Gerald and Julia’s separation surfaced on social media but no official statement was made until earlier this month. Both talent management companies of the actors spoke on their behalf to confirm the rumors.
The two “mutually” decided to part ways and they’ve been separated for some time now according to Julia’s management. Gerald’s management expressed the former couple’s gratitude and love towards their supportive fans.
Meanwhile, Bea recently confirmed that she is in a relationship with Puregold president Vincent Co. She was previously spotted with the businessman at a concert holding hands which sparked the rumors of her dating life.
She expressed her desire to keep her relationship away from the public eye as she’s dating a non-showbiz personality.
