The family of Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo was spotted alongside the thousands of protestors during the Trillion Peso March. Apart from their attendance, fans shared that the family also gave away some food and drinks to the people who were joining the rally.

Kathryn’s mother, Min Bernardo, was seen interacting with her fellow protestors in one video that was shared by a fan.

Photos of the family giving away boxes of snacks and drinks to the people were also uploaded by the fans, to the delight of netizens. They were giving out bottles of water to the protestors to combat the heat brought about by the crowd during the rally.

“Thank you, Bernardos, for the food and drinks you provided earlier to the rallistas. Thank you for your love and your quiet courage to stand for what is right. Thank you for showing that kindness can silence hate and that you can kill the noise not with anger, but with compassion,” a fan wrote.

While other netizens were hoping for a more visible Kathryn, fans explained that staying low-key was natural for the actress and shared how, just like her family, Kathryn would work in silence.

“As we always remind, think first before throwing words at them. They may not speak out vocally — some may even see that as cowardice — but the truth is, they have always chosen to work in silence,” a fan explained.

“Silence can be misunderstood, but actions will always speak louder than words. If the people are fighting for what is right, then so are the Bernardos. They are not blind to see, nor deaf to hear the cries around them,” a fan continued.

Kathryn’s family were just one of the thousands of families that gathered at the Trillion Peso March at the People Power Monument along EDSA. Other celebrities such as Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Nadine Lustre, Elijah Canlas, and Iza Calzado were also spotted in the crowd.
