KC Concepcion enjoyed a fun day shopping at the iconic Farmers Market in Cubao, Quezon City, marking her first-ever visit to the bustling marketplace.
"Hi, loves! It’s another fun ‘palengke’ market day for us! First time ko sa Farmers Market in Quezon City, and wow, I had the best time!" she remarked.
KC explored the market’s wide array of fresh produce and local goods. "From fresh veggies to freshly caught seafood to a huge variety of fruits… napa-shopping na naman ako," she said.
She also learned something new during her trip to the market. "Plus, a first for me: I finally learned how to gut a fish! Yes- natuto tayong mag-debone ng ‘bangus’ (shoutout to Nanay Malou 💖) na perfect for ‘daing na bangus’!" she said.
"All for the love of cooking our Philippine and Southeast Asian food, and of course, showing support for our local farmers and fisherfolk!" she highlighted.
The actress-host also enjoyed the market’s seafood paluto at Dampa.
"We had the most amazing Farmers Market palengke day and sobrang happy ko dahil namakyaw na naman tayo so let's support local. Let's support our farmers," she said in the conclusion of her vlog.
Previously, KC visited Salcedo Market, Makati’s beloved open-air weekend market.
For that day’s haul, KC purchased flowers, wooden bowls and plates, and a variety of fruits. She also enjoyed a quick meal of Thai food.
Wrapping up the experience, KC reflected on what makes Salcedo Market so special.
"We did it! Shopping check. Walking check. Bonding check. We just love Salcedo market not just for vibes but how it gives access to fresh and affordable food, at the same time promoting local and also international products. At bukod diyan, they offer a space for friends and family to just hang out," she said.
KC recently celebrated her 40th birthday.
The actress marked her natal day last April with a serene and heartfelt celebration on the island of Amanpulo, surrounded by close friends and nature’s beauty.
