Singer-songwriter Maki recently opened the doors of his new house.
In an interview with MJ Felipe on Are You G? on TFC, Maki gave a tour of the different areas of his home, including a "reminder corner" that displays his awards as a musician.
"Actually hindi po talaga namin pinlano na magkaroon ng ganito or ilagay ang awards ko dito, but ako kasi gusto ko po kasing ma-remind talaga every day before I go out of the house and before I go inside, I am always reminded na meron akong mga achievement na na-acheve," he relayed.
The living room highlights his family's love for both gaming and singing, featuring game consoles and a karaoke setup.
"['Yung game consoles] for family purposes also, dinadala ko siya for myself pero sa bahay mahilig po kasi kami lahat mag-games so ito talaga bonding namin and also watching films," he shared.
The singer went on: "Mahilig [rin] po talaga kami sa karaoke buong family... Lumaki po kasi ako meron kaming restobar dati tapos parang family business namin way, way back bata pa po ako. Tapos morning super parang Filipino food, tapos 'pag gabi restobar na siya, [may] mga karaoke songs."
The home was designed with wood, gray, and green tones. When asked about his inspiration for the color theme, Maki explained: "Mahilig po ako sa nature colors and also I got help from my brother also... para mas easy to the eyes, hindi masyadong crazy and hindi rin masyadong minimal."
Maki also shared why he opted for a simply designed home. "Para sa akin talaga kasi lumaki po ako sa small house, a humble home. Hindi naman po sobrang engrande and I've always wanted to have a new house, a bigger one pero ganun rin po, gusto ko po parang humble lang siya."
Maki is set to release his first studio album Kolorcoaster on September 19. The record contains ten tracks including his previously released singles "Dilaw," "Namumula," "Bughaw," and "Kahel na Langit."
