#PUSHTV: EXCLUSIVE: PBB alum Kiara Takahashi and partner Ben Gunter admit that the pregnancy came as a surprise. Still, they maintained that their relationship is working out well. "We're in a point we're we know we are gonna spend the rest of our lives together,” they said.
"We weren't really planning to have a baby this year but we were talking about it already," Kiara relayed. "It's a happy blessing. Yes, it's early, but it's gonna work out perfect for us on where we are [in our relationship]" Ben added.
The couple also shared how they plan to raise their first child together and talked about their dream family. With Kiara being half-Filipina and half-Japanese, and Ben being half-Australian and half-Thai, the couple admitted they have different upbringings but they also know that it won’t be an obstacle to them raising their child in a home full of love. "We get to raise a child together under one roof, and give him or her a normal happy household that's full of loving family," Ben shared.
Kiara and Ben also shared the same experience of growing up in broken families. This drove both of them to be even more committed to doing all that they can to give their child a complete family. "We wanted to have a complete [family], a kid that grows up in a normal setting of environment" Kiara shared, as she herself wasn't able to experience that during her childhood.
"Now we have the chance to make it right, and [give our child] what everyone dreams of — the normal setting [in a family] and all that. We're just excited to do that," Kiara and Ben continued.
