Kapamilya star Belle Mariano continues to be one of the most influential young celebrities of her generation, attracting fans and supporters across all ages, especially the younger demographic. With her growing popularity across platforms, Belle chooses to use her voice to advocate for health and wellness, particularly among young women.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN during the launch of pH Care Ultra Care Daily Feminine Wash, Belle opened up about how important it is for her to promote and embrace sensitivity, especially in the realm of feminine hygiene.
“I would say that it's very empowering to be able to promote a product that promotes this sensitivity, and there's nothing wrong with being sensitive,” Belle shared with a smile.
She added, “I think that's what the product really advocates — being pure, being genuine, being gentle — and I love it.”
As the eldest sister to her siblings, Belle revealed that she feels a deep sense of responsibility to be a role model for her younger sisters by creating awareness around feminine care and hygiene.
“I think, what I really (want), since I'm the ate (eldest sister) of little girls — I have two younger sisters — I really what I want to tell them and show them that it's not wrong to talk about and be aware of feminine care and feminine hygiene,” Belle expressed.
Using her influence as a young celebrity, Belle hopes to help break the stigma surrounding feminine health and encourage more open conversations about self-care.
“It's really nakakatuwa. I'm glad that I'm able to use my platform to promote feminine care, feminine hygiene, and to help women out there,” she remarked. 
Belle also emphasized that she prefers endorsing products she personally uses and trusts.
“I grew up with pH Care like when I entered my puberty years, when I went when I went through the whole puberty. When I got my period, I was really introduced to pH Care. And so to be able to promote the product that I really use, nakakataba ng puso, and nakakatuwa siya.”
At the event, Belle highlighted the importance of choosing the right product that caters to one’s individual sensitivity, especially when it comes to intimate care.
“Not all of us, but mayroong mga tao talaga na super sensitive (with taking care of intimate areas) so at least panatag tayo with that when we choose the right product for down there,” Belle said.
Belle also noted how important to fellow women to openly share their experiences and thoughts when it comes to proper hygiene and self-care.
“Don’t be afraid to talk about these things. Kasi I feel like that’s one thing that us women are afraid of kasi nga nakakahiya, pero huwag dapat kayo mahiya,” Belle said. “Don’t be afraid to talk about it kasi we all have each other’s back. And that’s what pH Care is promoting — sensitivity, gentleness — not just with ourselves, but also with each other as well.”
Meanwhile, Belle is gearing up for her upcoming family drama film Meet, Greet, and Bye alongside Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual, Juan Karlos, and Joshua Garcia. The film is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
