After more than half a year of bringing to life the role of unconventional special agent Tomas Guerrero in the action-drama series Incognito, actor Anthony Jennings shared what he thinks are the best and worst things about his endearing but rough-around-the-edges character onscreen.
“Siguro ito ‘yung bad side niya sa mga tao. Kasi meron siyang ‘pag gusto ka niya, gusto ka niya talaga eh. Pero ‘pag naniningil na siya ng utang, ibang tao na siya (laughs). Alam mo ‘yun? Nagagalit siya, mainit ulo niya. Pero gusto ko ‘yung ‘pag gusto niya ‘yung tao, talagang ibibigay niya lahat. Sasalo siya ng suntok para dun,” he shared during the Incognito: Final Mission presscon which heralded the show’s finale run this month.

Another memorable part of working on the show for Anthony was doing scenes with veteran actor Bembol Roco, who he refers to as “Ninong” in the series and who portrayed a kind of father figure for his role as the street smart and talented Tomas.
“Si Tito Bembol kasi, naturally nakakatawa siya, ‘yung kahit off-cam. Si Tito Bembs, nakakatawa talaga siya. May mga eksena kami na may sarili siyang adlib na sobrang layo na nakakatawa (laughs). May mga eksena kami, nahuhulog niya ‘yung mga gamit niya sa bulsa, ‘yung mga ganun,” he shared. “Sobrang sarap ni Tito Bembs talaga na kasama. Happy ako na maka-eksena si Tito Bembs. Sobrang gaan niya talaga sa eksena. Siguro dahil same kami ng humor — kanal din si Tito Bembs — kaya okay kami. Happy ako na natutuwa ‘yung ibang tao sa amin. Nag-wo-work siya eh!”
