Kapamilya star Nadine Lustre was quick to shut down a Facebook page that posted a fake quote that was using her name. In her official Facebook account, the Uninvited actress made sure her fans know that she never said anything like what was written in the Facebook page.
“I started using the Mirror Method. Di ka nila binati nung birthday mo? Don’t greet them also. ‘Di ka nila inaya sa gala, ‘wag mo din silang yayain. ‘Di ka nila chin-check? STOP checking on them too. Just give them the same energy they’re giving to you. Trust me, life feels light when you do this,” the fake quote Weng.

“Parang di ko naman po sinabi yan,” Nadine shared.
She then made several comments joking about the rampant use of her name for publicity. She humored her fans as she admitted she also doesn’t have any idea what the Mirror Method really is.
“‘tong mga chismis blogs na to makapag post lang talaga ng content eh.. baka sa Q4 buntis nanaman ako ha?” she shared in the comment section.
“Di ko nga alam kung ano yung mirror method na yan. Alam ko lang ‘mirror mirror’ by M2M,” she quipped.
Her post has reached more than 347,000 reactions and 4,000 shares on the social media platform. Several fans have quickly spread the word on other social media platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter).

In a separate post, Nadine then expressed her thoughts about the fake quote and what she really thought about the ‘Mirror Method.’ The actress claimed that she doesn’t believe in the said method as she would rather choose to be kind even without expecting any in return.
“Just my two cents on the matter tho… I honestly don’t believe in mirroring coldness just because someone chose to forget, ignore, or not show up. Para sa akin, hindi mo kailangang suklian ang kakulangan ng iba,” she wrote.
“Mas mahalaga pa rin na piliin mong maging mabuti, kahit walang kapalit. Because kindness isn’t for them, it’s for YOUR soul. If sinaktan ka, and it’s gotten to the point where you no longer speak, still… always wish them well,” she added.
Nadine maintained that people can always cut that person off in their lives without having any resentment.
“You let go not because they deserve it, but because YOU deserve peace. Take care of your soul, not your ego. Remember, hindi yung kapwa mo yung nagke-keep tabs, It’s the universe. So keep choosing light. Keep choosing love. That’s where true healing lives. Trust me, life is so much better when you do this,” she ended.
