Veteran actor and proud father Aga Muhlach took to social media to express his love and support for his daughter, Atasha Muhlach, as she embarked on her first major acting project.
On his Instagram page, Aga shared a heartfelt message dedicated to Atasha, who recently landed a lead role in the upcoming local adaptation of the popular 2017 Thai film, Bad Genius.
“To my one and only daughter, I can’t believe here you are now in your 1st acting job. Can't help but be a little sentimental,” he wrote. “I know all the hard work you have poured in from the day you started in Eat Bulaga with all your dance prods and doing a daily show ain’t no joke . But you did it. And that’s because you really wanted to. Take a bow.”
Aga also added, “Sa dabarkads , maraming salamat sa for the love you’ve shown my daughter. Yes, she’s very special to me ( I’m sure all the dads out there, moms too, of course will understand what I’m trying to point out ) 😊🙏🏼.”
Offering words of wisdom to Atasha, Aga encouraged her to give her best in every project, regardless of the outcome.
“Ngayon naman here you are on your latest project and let me tell you @atashamuhlach_ how proud I am of you! You know that!” Aga said.
He went on: “Eto lang… Basta just keep giving your all in every project you do. Magaling ka man o Hindi, magustuhan nila o hindi , ok lang yan as long as you know in your heart you gave it your all. Like what I always say… just do good work and be kind to all the people you work with lalo na to all your supporters!”

Drawing from his own experience in the entertainment industry, Aga also offered words of encouragement to Atasha and her twin brother, Andres Muhlach, who are both beginning to make names for themselves.
“Mahaba pa ang lalakbayin mo at ni Andres @aagupy - but what’s important is you’re both in and working already. Proud of you both. Good luck and kapit lang. it can get rough. But God’s got your backs. Have fun! Congratulations!!! Your proud dad here ❤️,” he expressed.
During the cast reveal in March, both Aga and his wife, Charlene Gonzalez, expressed their excitement over Atasha’s milestone as an actress.
“@atashamuhlach_ ❤️ So happy to see your dreams come true. Excited for your upcoming series, Bad Genius. Such an excellent cast,director and producer ❤️,” Charlene wrote in a post.
