Award winning actress Dolly de Leon shared the character she wants to play in X-Men should she be given the chance to join the Marvel franchise. In an interview with veteran broadcaster Rico Hizon for the 36th episode of Beyond the Exchange, she explained why this certain character in X-Men is one of her favorite superheroes.
Dolly’s favorite X-Men character is the Nightcrawler. In the comics, the X-Men superhero possesses superhuman agility, has the ability to teleport, and has hands and feet that are adhesive. The Nightcrawler has appeared in several X-Men films such as X-Men 2, X-Men Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix.

“You know what, for me, of course–– who doesn’t want to do Marvel? Who doesn’t want to do Game of Thrones? Of course, that’s a given for sure,” Dolly shared.
Though there are no offers for her as of writing, Dolly maintained her openness in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She expressed how she loves the character of Nightcrawler due to its power of being able to teleport.
“My dream is really to come out in X-Men kasi that’s my favorite franchise eh. X-Men is really my favorite franchise–– I love X-Men so much. I would love to play Nightcrawler–– ‘yun nga lang I’m too old to play Nightcrawler,” she said.
“Nightcrawler is my favorite of all the X-Men kasi favorite superpower ko ‘yung teleportation–– ‘yun ‘yung power niya. X-Men, happy na ako doon,” she added.
More than joining several international franchises such as Marvel or Game of Thrones, the Triangle of Sadness star maintained that she has a wish list of Hollywood stars and directors that she wants to work with in the future.

“I have a list of filmmakers I really want to work with. Christopher Nolan–– I’ve always wanted to work with him before pa. Even before he became the best director, I’ve always loved his work,” she expressed.
“Actors like Daniel Day-Lewis, I’ve always wanted to work with him. Meryl Streep. It’s really more of that–– it’s just being able to work with the people in the industry whom I admired for such a long time,” she continued.
Meanwhile, Dolly is set to star in the upcoming second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender where she will be playing the role of the twins, Lo and Li.
