Transcending their close bond with fans and fellow housemates, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemates Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo—known together as the CharEs duo—expressed their joy and surprise at how fans embraced the “family” they formed inside the house.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Charlie and Esnyr reacted to the now-viral fan-made family trees inspired by their relationships inside Kuya’s house.
One of the most popular fan creations was their “FaMahal” family—where Charlie is the daughter of Esnyr and fellow housemate and Big Winner Brent Manalo.
“Sobrang nagulat po talaga kami ni Brent kasi wala kaming alam na may alam na pala ito si Charlie paglabas niya na may Famahal. Pero never niya po talagang shinare sa amin,” Esnyr shared. “Pagtingin ko,’Hala! Seryoso ba ito talaga may FaMahal?’ So ayon po yung pinaka-unexpected po na family.”

He also expressed his gratitude to their fans who showed their support to them in every project and gig they have, individually and together.
“Sobrang overwhelming po yung support talaga nila. Talagang every event, every appearance namin, andoon sila. Isa po talaga sa iti-treasure po talaga namin,” he stated.
Esnyr shared that Charlie really felt like a daughter to him during their time inside the house.
“Si Charlie daughter-daughter namin po talaga sa bahay like ito talaga yung daughter ko sa bahay. Kahit like joke time na, ‘’Nak, yung papa mo, nasa ibang babae na naman.’ Hindi ko naman expect na sineseryoso siya ng mga tao. Kaya ang saya, ang saya po dahil super close din po talaga kami, ako, si Brent, si Charlie,” he remarked.

Charlie recalled how their small family dynamic began and grew through bonding moments in the house.
“We would spend hours talking, actually. Sa veranda, ilang hours. Actually, dati talaga, sa veranda kami, ilang hours talaga kami mag-usap-usap sa work about family, about experiences and talagang, I love this one. FaMahal is actually one of my favorite bonds sa loob ng bahay,” she shared.
Charlie also shared how she would tease Esnyr whenever Brent was paired with other fellow female housemates.
“Sa loob ng bahay, ginagawa lang namin joke na parang, ‘Mom (Esnyr), where's dad (Brent)?’ ‘Mom, showbiz lang yan!’ kasi si Brent kasama niya may ibang girls minsan and kasi syempre rin sa bahay iba-iba rin yung makakasama. ‘Mom, it's just showbiz. It's okay. Don't be sad. Ikaw yung totoo. Ikaw yung totoo.’ So, gumaganon ganun pa. Hindi ko in-expect paglabas na family na rin talaga siya,” she added.
Aside from the FaMahal trio, the housemates also became part of a bigger family, Pamilya De Guzman, led by Kapamilya singer Klarisse De Guzman. According to fans, Klarisse is the “Mowm” with four children: eldest Mika Salamanca, twins Esnyr and Shuvee Etrata, and youngest son Will Ashley. Charlie is the granddaughter, while Brent is paired either with Esnyr or Mika, depending on the storyline.
Other housemates were added into the extended family as friends, godparents, suitors—and even Big Brother himself was paired as a possible love interest for Klarisse.
Esnyr shared that although he initially joked about the family they created, he never expected it to grow and resonate with so many people.
“Si Ate Klang po talaga, mowm ko talaga yan ever since first day. Hanggang nag-start yan sa amin nila Will tapos, si Shuvee hanggang sa nag-connect na si Ate Mika,” he said. “Nag-connect-connect na lahat. At halos kami lahat doon na mga housemates is parte na ng Pamilya De Guzman.”
He also expressed amazement at how their in-house bond continued to gain love from fans even after the show, especially through their group broadcast channel.
“Hindi ko po na-expect is sobrang daming magiging part ng family. Like hindi po housemates but also the members po na sumasali po sa may broadcast channel po kami. At umaabot siya ng million members. So grabe, sobrang saya, sobrang dami. Parang kailan lang nagpamilya-pamilyahan kami doon,” he remarked.
“Nakakataba ng puso na nakikita po namin yung feedback ng mga tao at yung mga projects namin together, happy sila and rooting sila na magkaka-projects po kami together, magkaka-endorsements po kami together. Kaya sobrang happy na maraming hindi nag-evil eye. Maraming nagsusuport and nagmamanifest with us,” he continued.
Charlie shared the same sentiment, saying she didn’t expect to be part of Pamilya De Guzman at first.
“Ako, I actually did not expect to be part of family De Guzman kasi I knew about Famahal na. I knew that I already had my little family. But I didn't expect for it to branch out, kumbaga. Kasi it really started there. When we came out, we saw a whole web of a family. Actually, I'm just so happy that I'm part of it. Kasi talagang parents ko talaga si Esnyr and Brent sa loob. At ngayon sinasabi din nila, nanay ko si Ate Mika. Minsan po talaga nanay ko din siya,” she shared.
Esnyr agreed, “Anak yan siya ng lahat. Siya yung bunso namin doon.”
The CharEs tandem believed that the strong family values and genuine friendships they formed inside the house are part of what made their season stand out.
“Feeling ko, it's what makes the season natin ngayon different. Kasi, oo, given na na yung mga housemates mo, family mo pero hindi on another level na ganito talaga,” Esnyr stated.
“May compassion and family values. We learned how to be a family. Naging pamilya na talaga kami,” Charlie added.
Looking ahead, both said they’re open to doing a show together, possibly a sitcom inspired by their PBB family dynamics.
“We want to! So we really do want to work together. Actually, napag-usapan namin yun sa loob ng bahay na sana magka-serye kami or something like a sitcom,” Charlie said.
“Minamanifest na talaga namin to before at tinatawanan lang namin. Pero ngayon, seeing all the possibilities, parang hindi siya imposibleng mangyari. Sana, sana naman,” Esnyr added.
