Megan Young shared that she and her husband, Mikael Daez, recently took time off for a date to celebrate their new chapter as parents, emphasizing the importance of nurturing their marriage alongside raising their child.
In an Instagram post, Megan remarked, "Mom and Dad’s first date out! We decided to celebrate our new chapter as parents by celebrating each other. We’ve been taking care of Leon day in and day out but we also need to keep nourishing and taking care of our bond as husband and wife."
The actress also shared that they were able to spend quality time with family during the outing. "Love that we could have this time together, also celebrating with family, @sandrodaez and @antet.bea (who was also celebrating her birthday!) 🫶🏻," she relayed.
Megan expressed gratitude to those who helped look after their baby while they were out. "Thankful for the help that we got last night to watch Leon at home while we were out for a couple of hours!! So excited to bring him out of the house and to let him explore pag ready na 🥹," she said.
It was in May when the celebrity couple announced that they welcomed their first child.
In an Instagram post early in June, Megan opened up about her experience during the first two weeks of being a first-time mom. "In my momma era 🥹 the past two weeks have been crazy fun, crazy tiring and crazy happy 😁," she shared.
The actress expressed her gratitude for all the support she received from her loved ones and her medical team.
"I’m grateful to have such a good support system!! From all the doctors and nurses from when we were in the hospital, our family and friends that have visited and shown love and care non stop and to the friends that have helped whenever I would send messages asking for advice.. thank you for being there for us!!!" she relayed.
The former Miss World also expressed her appreciation for her pet dogs. "Also, the doggos have been super malambing!! We make sure to take turns giving them lots of love too 🫶🏻🥹," she stated.
