After holding a masquerade-themed sweet sixteen birthday party for her daughter Kendra earlier this month, Chesca Kramer penned a emotional tribute for her eldest child in an Instagram post last June 25. The family had just returned from a their summer vacation which took them to various cities in Europe like London in the United Kingdom and Madrid in Spain.
In her post, Cheska wrote, “Happy 16th birthday, my Ken-Ken!
Sweet 16 to my sweet, fun, loving, and funny girl, Kendra. 🎉🎉🎉
"How beautiful it is to celebrate this special day and to vividly remember the first time I held you in my arms. What a blessing! It’s been a true joy to watch you grow up and become this wonderful young lady. 🎀 There is so much to look forward to, and I can't wait to see all that will unfold in the days that will come. Enjoy your youth, but continue to stand firm in your faith and convictions. Put God first in everything you do. Always remember, your family will be here to love, support, guide, and be there for you, no matter what. 🎁"

As the matriarch of Team Kramer, Chesca also shared what her eldest daughter has been feeling as she enters another phase in her life.
“I know you mentioned that turning 16 feels bittersweet because it’s a step closer to adulthood and stepping into the real world. It may seem a little fast, especially as you’re entering your Junior year. That’s why I encourage you to cherish your girlhood and enjoy each moment, while also making wise choices and keep your identity rooted in Christ. 🙏 Stay sweet, remain the good girl that you are, and never lose that genuine and radiant smile of yours!🎀🎀🎀 I love you so much, Kenny. In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Chesca also shared her thoughts on the possibility of Kendra joining beauty pageants someday.
“I feel flattered that they think Kendra can one day represent the Philippines, but at the same time I really don't put much on to it because I don't want also to pressure my daughter and telling her na 'magiging Miss Universe ka, magiging ganyan ka. Because you know, sometimes when you put things sa head nila and hindi mangyari 'di ba napakasakit nun? Instead, I always tell her, 'You'll be what the Lord is set you to be. You'll know it. Whatever mama says, later on it will put it in your heart who eventually you want to be,” Chesca shared.
