Abi Marquez aka "Lumpia Queen" discussed what's next for her as a content creator.
In an interview with PUSH Bets, Abi expressed her commitment in continuously championing Filipino food, saying, "[I want to make] Filipino food shine in the food industry globally. And it's not just of course that something na ako lang 'yung gagawa, a lot of Filipino chefs and restaurants have been doing it for a long time."
Abi also encouraged fellow creators to focus on creating content with impact. "'Yan din 'yung message ko sana sa upcoming content creators or content creators ngayon: to back up your content creation with something na meaningful, and to also contribute to that goal."
Back in May, Abi added another feather to her cap after she won the Food Blogger Award at the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards (WIBA) in Cannes.
As per wibaawards.com, WIBA 2025 is the "seventh edition of the global award, honoring the remarkable talents, opinion leaders, and the most influential personalities in the social media world."
Abi also shared that she won three awards at the 46th Annual Telly Awards including Online Series award for Abi’s TikTok, Food & Beverage award for her Mabuhay World Campaign, and Social Video for "Gordon Ramsay Doesn’t Like My Beef Wellington" vlog.
As per tellyawards.com, the Telly Awards "is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, the Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents."
Back in April, Abi was once again nominated for the Annual Webby Awards under the Creators - Food & Drink category, marking her second consecutive nomination following her Webby People’s Voice Award win in 2024.
She was nominated alongside international digital food creators, including Joshua Weissman, Andrew Rea (Binging with Babish), and Olivia Tiedemann.
The Webby Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars of the Internet," honor excellence in digital content. Out of over 13,000 entries across various categories, only the top 12% are selected as nominees.
Back in May 2024, Abi became the first Filipina born and raised in the Philippines to win at the Webby Awards.
