Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon described her recent stint as a guest inside the Pinoy Big Brother house as an emotional and unforgettable journey.

Jane was a houseguest during the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. Following her exit, Jane took to social media to share her heartfelt reflections about the experience and the deep connection she formed with the housemates within a short time.

“Emotional? Oo, ako ’yon. Alam mo kung bakit? Kasi kahit ang daming judgment dito sa labas, sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya… doon ko naranasan ’yung pagtanggap,” Jane said.

Jane appreciated the way the housemates accepted her and welcomed her wholeheartedly.

“Wala akong naramdamang panghuhusga.  Tinanggap nila ako kung sino ako,” she added.

She emphasized how being in the house allowed her to feel free to be herself, without the restrictions of expectations or labels.

“Sa labas, ang daming mata.  Ang daming opinyon. Pero sa loob, wala ni isa. Walang judgment. Walang ‘dapat ganito ka’. Just people… who saw me, felt me, and embraced me,” she stated.

Despite being a houseguest with only a limited time inside the house, Jane shared that the housemates treated her like one of their own.

“Hindi nila ako tinuring na guest. I was never ‘just visiting’. They treated me like a real housemate, a sister, a friend, a part of their family,” she continued.

One moment that struck Jane deeply was a conversation she had with the housemates.

“Naalala ko pa nga, sabi ng mga housemates sakin: ‘Ate Jane, lagi nila sinasabi na OA kami… pero ngayon na andito ka, maiintindihan mo na’,” she recalled. “And they were right. Now I get it. Now I feel it. And that? That means everything to me.”

As their bond grew stronger, Jane admitted it was painful to leave her “new family.”

“And that’s what made it so hard. Ang hirap umalis. Masakit kasi… ayaw din nila akong paalisin. They held my hand. They hugged me tighter. And I could see it in their eyes..  they didn’t want me to go. And that broke me,” she expressed.

She also pointed out that not everything that matters gets captured on camera.

“And let’s be real 🙂 hindi lahat makikita niyo sa live o sa streaming. Some of the most real, raw moments? Hindi nahuli ng camera. Pero nahuli ng puso. Kaya kung wala ka sa loob ng bahay, you’ll never really get it. You’ll never understand why this hits so deep,” she stressed.

Jane, known for playing the iconic Filipino superhero Darna, said that her brief stay made her feel that she was more than what public opinion has made her out to be.

“So yes, I’m emotional. Because that house gave me peace. It gave me love. It reminded me that I am more than what people say I am. And no matter what anyone out here says, no one can take that away from me. Not even the judgmental noise from the outside world,” she stated.

She ended her message by cherishing the genuine connection she formed inside the house, saying, “Because what we had inside was real. And that’s something only “us” will ever fully understand.”

Her post appeared to respond to netizens who criticized her emotional reaction after leaving the PBB house on Saturday, May 31.

During her stay, Jane assisted the housemates in their “Balik-Bahay” task, where those with immunity were given a chance to bring their nominated housemates back into the main house. Although they failed to win the challenge, Kuya (Big Brother) shared the deeper lesson behind the task:

“Ang tanging yaman na inyong panghahawakan ay ang inyong samahan,” he explained.

Before her departure, Jane shared parting words of encouragement with the housemates and expressed her gratitude during her talk inside the confession room with Kuya.

“Thank you, Kuya. Thank you for treating me as your housemate, Kuya, not as houseguest lang. Thank you for trusting me po and thank you sa pag-welcome sa akin dito sa bahay,” she expressed.

She also looks forward to reuniting with the housemates after the show.

“I found them like a new family to me. Parang di ko kaya iwan sila lahat doon and the way they treat me not just a houseguest but as a housemate, hindi ko matanggap na maiwan ko sila sa loob. Hindi rin ako nakapagpaaalam ng maayos kasi it was so quick, but I know hindi naman dito magtatapos ang relationship namin lahat kaya nagpapasalamat ako kay Kuya,” Jane told PBB hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Gabbi Garcia and Enchong Dee.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya actress Xyriel Manabat and Kapuso actor Vince Maristela are the recent housemates to leave the house during PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’s 5th Eviction Night.
