Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez delighted fans by sharing a behind-the-scenes moment with actor Jericho Rosales during their cover shoot for Tatler Philippines magazine.
The couple brought extra kilig as they posed together for the magazine’s May issue, a glimpse of which Janine uploaded on her YouTube channel.
“Hi guys! We are here today in Makati for the Tatler cover shoot,” Janine first greeted. “We are doing the cover today with a very special kasama sa cover pero wala pa siya so abangan natin ang pagdating niya in a little bit.”
While Janine was getting prepped, Jericho arrived on set and warmly greeted her team, which included photographer BJ Pascual, hairstylist Jay Aquino, and makeup artist Anthea Bueno.
Jericho teased Janine about finally meeting her close friends.
“(Hindi mo pa ako) iniintroduce sa friends mo (Janine). Ang dami niyo ng dinner hindi pako nakakasama. Hindi ako invited,” he quipped.
The chemistry between the two was undeniable as they posed together for the photoshoot, sharing sweet gestures.
Earlier this month, Tatler Philippines unveiled Janine and Jericho as the cover stars of their May issue, dubbing them the “most talked-about It couple.”
In an excerpt from the cover story, Tatler shared how their love story began with a casual coffee meeting to review their script for the Kapamilya drama Lavender Fields.
“I enjoy conversations, and I try to bond with the people I work with,” Jericho said. “I was on a mission to connect before filming.”
He also described their relationship, saying, “We’re similar but different—it’s a healthy balance.”
Janine added, “We both love the beach, driving, and old cars. He’s so supportive. He makes me feel like anything’s possible.”
In another video released by the magazine, the couple answered the question, “What does it feel like when love finds you?”
“It feels like everything makes sense and everything is sunshine and everything happens for a reason,” Janine answered.
Jericho expressed, “I guess it's like depending on the time of your life but it's crazy, right? You feel everything from fear to, like, excitement. The fact that you open up to it and then you allow yourself to be vulnerable makes it really, really fun.”
In August of last year, Jericho confirmed that he and Janine are dating, admitting he didn’t expect to find love again. The revelation came just before the premiere of Lavender Fields.
