“For the most assumed assumption about me: 'pinabayaan nya talaga ang sarili nya' ('she let herself go when she moved to the island'),” she wrote.
The social media influencer maintained that she still cares about her skin despite what others may think. She asserted that while she loves staying outdoors, she has put a premium on taking care of her skin.
“People often assume that just because I love being under the sun or in the ocean, I don't care about my skin's health,” she shared.
“PSA it's not the sun itself that ruins your skin—it’s neglecting to protect it. This is exactly why I make the effort to care for it even more,” she added.
Andi shared some of her skin care products that she uses on a daily basis–– most of which aren’t toxic for the ocean.
Despite giving advice to her followers to take care of their skin, she admitted that she still forgets at times.

“Sometimes I would still forget 😬😅 but now that I've been 27 for 7 years now, I am making it a point to always remember,” she ended.
Friends and fans of the celebrity influencer showed their support in the comment section of her post. Other netizens applauded her for being transparent about what products she uses and thanked her for the recommendations.
“They assume cos they expect an island girl to be all glammed up with makeup and all that they used to see on you way back your city/active actress era..but real beauty and glam is by being you and not allowing societal standards define You. Stay that beautiful you, gorgeous island lady,” a friend wrote.
“I saw you put this on during the comp. I thought it was make up. It looked natural and blended so well. You never looked hulas even after finishing the heat,” a fan added.
Andi has been uploading several videos on YouTube about her life with her family in Siargao. She has been vocal on how she enjoys the life at the beach and uses her platform to inspire others.
