As Halalan 2025 comes to a close, actress Rhian Ramos shared that she is “very proud” of her partner and Manila mayoral aspirant Sam Verzosa.
Ramos voted along with Verzosa and his mother at Legarda Elementary School past 10 a.m.
“I have never seen anyone work as hard. It just goes to show this is not work or a business for him. He is really fighting for something he believes in. I am very proud,” she said in an interview.
She praised her partner’s hands-on approach, which included house-to-house visits. “Gusto ko iparamdam na may tunay nagmamalasakit sa kanila, na gusto malaman kundisyon nila. Marami sa pinuntahan ko sa looban at eskenita. You have to experience and know ramdam nila para matulungan,” Verzosa reasoned.
This marks the first time the Tutok to Win party-list representative is running for a leadership position in Manila.
“Masayang masaya ako nabigay ko lahat at nabigay ko buong sarili ko sa Maynila. Masaya ako kasama ko pamilya ko. It is up to God. It is up to our destiny, kung ano plano sa akin at Maynila. Nakita ko pagmamahal nila sa akin,” he said.
