Actress Ina Raymundo took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt poem she wrote for her son, Jakob, who turned a year older last April 20. The celebrity mom showed a glimpse of her son’s simple birthday celebration wherein the whole family was in attendance.
Jakob is Ina’s only son with her husband, Brian Poturnak. They share four more children–– Erika, Mikaela, Anika, and Minka.

In her poem, the actress shared about the past 21 years with her son. She expressed how tough the journey was but how it was worth it being his mother.
“Dear Jakob,
As you turn twenty-one,
So many thoughts rush through my memory lane.
From the day you were born
To the tough days of nursing you as a tiny newborn,
And you’ve always been a good boy,” she wrote.

Ina added that her son is an “extraordinary man” who has potential and is sure that he will be going to places–– most especially his chosen sport, Baseball. She shared how her son has been working hard all throughout his sporting career to make it where he is today.
“You’re an extraordinary man, Jakob,
A true diamond in the rough.
And I can’t help but envision your potential.
You will go places, my son,
As long as you keep doing what you’ve done since grade one.
The hardest-working player I know,
Hitting hundreds of balls a day until you say, I’m done,” she continued.
She ended her poem with a reminder to her son to remain grounded and never forget where his talent in playing came from–– his faith.
“You are the one, my Neo of baseball.
But most importantly, never forget the One
Who blessed you with a gift second to none.
I love you, Son.
Love,
Mom,” she ended.
Various friends and fans of the actress stormed the comment section to write Jakob their birthday wishes and messages.
It was back in 2022 when Ina’s only son moved to the United States to play for Xavier University.
