Fyang Smith recently opened up about the personal stories behind her tattoos in an interview with Ivana Alawi on her YouTube vlog.
During their conversation, Fyang shared the significance of some of her ink, revealing how each design holds a special meaning in her life.
She revealed that one of her tattoos honor her late grandmother. "Ang meaning nito ay lola kong namayapa kasi siya 'yung nag-alaga sa akin kasi ang mommy ko nag-OFW before," she relayed.
She also has a tattoo of her family's birthdates. "Ito birthday ng mahal ko sa buhay. Birthday ng mommy ko, kapatid, and favorite cousin," she said.
In the same interview, Fyang was also asked whether she prioritizes love or career at this stage in her life.
Without hesitation, she chose career, explaining that she wants to focus on securing a better future for her family. "Kapag nabigay ko na 'yung gusto ng family ko, lahat-lahat," she said.
And at the top of her list? "Malaking bahay," she answered when asked about her biggest dream for her parents.
Despite her contributions to the family, Fyang clarified that she doesn't consider herself the household's breadwinner, as her father remains their main provider. "Siya pa rin 'yung nagpro-provide sa family ko pero kapag may kailangan sila, binibigay ko naman din," she said.
Fyang became the Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 Big Winner in October 2024.
In a previous interview with Bianca Gonzalez for the TFC show BRGY, Fyang shared the learnings that she gained from her PBB experience. She remarked that she went through a lot of character development while inside the house.
"Siguro po the way na maging mindful na ako. Kasi before basta galaw lang po ako na kahit anong lumabas sa bibig ko, wala akong pakialam. Kinakapa ko rin po kung ano 'yung vibe, ganun na rin po ako ngayon," she relayed.
