Years after her Miss Universe reign, Catriona Gray is still using her platform to support advocacies close to her heart.

The former beauty queen happily announced the success of her recent birthday fundraiser for the cleft charity Smile Train.

She thanked her friends and fans for helping her raise a whopping P250,000, which will be used for cleft care for Filipino kids.

"Thank you to everyone who donated to my birthday fundraiser," she said. "Together we raised P250,000 that will go towards giving free, life-changing cleft care to Filipino kids."

Gray went on to encourage her social media followers to "help the cause in our own ways."

"Perhaps through your own fundraisers, fun runs, or getting your corporate workspaces involved," she said, directing them to Smile Train's website.

Gray kicked off her birthday fundraiser in January, setting an initial donation target of P200,000.

The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder has been known for her efforts for various charities. Just last year, she held her first-ever Legacy Ball to raise funds for Young Focus, a non-government organization dedicated to underprivileged youth.
