MANILA -- Actress Charo Santos, who started using TikTok later than others, found that doing it brings her joy.
On Instagram, Santos thanked her fans and followers for supporting her, for dancing with her and cheering her on.
She also expressed her gratitude for helping her realize that it is never too late to try new things.
"Started TikTok a little later than most but found so much joy along the way. Thank you for dancing with me, cheering me on, and reminding me that it’s never too late to try something new," Santos captioned her post.
In a previous interview with Rolling Stone Philippines, Santos shared why she chose to expand her presence on platforms like TikTok.
"That's how you continuously engage your audience because your audience is already on the digital platforms. I want to be able to still tell stories, give out my messages, in whatever form. Now it doesn't matter. It doesn't have the long-form like it used to be. Now it can be a 30-seconder, and you can give out your message," she said.
Earlier this year, in an interview with Korina Sanchez, Santos also discussed the importance of embracing change and continuous learning in today's fast-evolving media landscape.
